I really love these containers and have bought them in the past. However, half of the tops don't seal and pull off with no effort at all. The food I had in the containers went stale as a result.

I like these containers but I have another set, also Oxo brand that is older which I like more. The difference is in the covers. The old covers / lids are taken apart for cleaning by turning counterclockwise and are labeled. The new ones are rubber you pull out, and these new ones do not seal as tightly as the older ones. If I pick up a container filled with coffee or sugar but the lid on the old ones the lid stays in place and on the new ones the lid actually separates from the container... it comes off, so the seal is not so good. ... show more
