I bought this holder to keep at work. I usually microwave my lunch and I needed something to handle the heated container as I carry my lunch back to my office. I wasnt looking for fancy. Just something that could do the job and last a while. This holder is well made. The material will certainly withstand a good wash. The grips do their job. And it's simple and just black. I bought a pair of these 4+ years ago because all the cheap oven mitts I had back then had thin spots where I was getting burned. This was a great purchase, these things are totally awesome and I've never once even gotten warm using them.     • Never burn yourself and good grip. Very heat resistant.

These things are great. We preheat the oven to 500F with dutch ovens inside and then remove them to put the bread dough into them and then put them back in the oven. These silicone hot pads never burn through to your fingers like conventional pads or rubber mits did. These are quick and easy to use, flexible enough to give you a good grip on things.
