When there are this many reviews I feel like one more is pointless, but just in case anyone else was having the same issue we were, I wanted to share this. The biggest problem I have in our kitchen is our Ninja Foodi Air Fryer/Toaster Oven appliance. When you grab the solid metal tray out of it, when it is 375+ degrees, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING has allowed me to hold onto that tray for more than 15-20 seconds before it is burning my hand. I have tried 5 different silicone mitts and two different grill gloves. The grill gloves I can literally put my hands in the fire of our charcoal grill and I feel nothing yet this stupid black tray negates them every time. The OXO glove (I wish it was "gloves" for this price) absolutely, 100% allows me to hold that tray for as long as I actually need to now w/o having to put it down and grab it with another oven mitt. I'm both thankful and impressed. I begrudgingly had to order another one so I would have two for when I have to grab something with both hands. I don’t write reviews usually but I have to for these! I recently had an issue with another OXO product (discoloring material-nothing urgent) and the company’s customer support was so amazing that when I needed new oven mitts I knew I wanted to buy the OXO brand and let me tell you, I am SO happy I did. I have never had such great oven mitts -I don’t have to worry at all about reaching into my oven or grabbing a hot pan off the stove.
