First, the color is really pretty in person — it has that clean, modern kitchen look instead of the typical dark metal pan. But more importantly, it actually bakes evenly. My loaves come out with a nice golden crust without getting overly dark on the bottom or edges. The nonstick interior works well too. I still lightly grease it out of habit, but my bread releases easily every time with minimal sticking. Cleanup has also been very easy, which I appreciate after longer baking days. I also like the size and shape of the pan. It gives a nice tall loaf that slices well for sandwiches and toast. The pan feels sturdy without being overly heavy, and it seems much nicer quality than some cheaper bakeware I’ve used in the past. If you haven't started to replace your old metal and non-stick pots and pans by now, start as soon as you can. I've just about gotten all my replaced with ceramic coating cookware, because as soon as I got the first two, I was hooked. These always cook like a dream, they're nice and sturdy, and they clean up super easily. There's no need to buy the expensive Caraway brand that costs triple--these OXO ones are great, and so is the RedChef line, and the cost is reasonable. Once you cook with these, you won't want to cook with anything else. I wanted this in the beige color, but for some strange reason, it wasn't available.
