This is the best peeler I’ve ever had. I know it’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I peeled the skin off of a big beef master tomato in the same time it would take to peel the skin off of an apple with a normal peeler. I started to throw my old peeler in the trash but decided to keep it for peeling potatoes and stuff like that. This OXO peeler seems to be more designed for soft fruit and vegetables. Very happy with how well it worked. Even peels peaches and tomatoes with no problem. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no shield to use while storing. Easy to nick yourself on it when it is in a drawer. Luckily I had an old shield that I was able to cut to fit it.

I bought this to replace a similar shaped peeler that I used for 15 years before it broke. This peeler is attractive and easy to hold. It peels harder fruits and vegetables well but not softer tomatoes. I’ll keep looking for one as good as my broken one.

Works great for at home use. Nice and thin peels from cucumber. Works great of rough sweet potatoes with thicker skin. I did cut my pinky, but was a little distracted at the time. Be careful when handling smaller fruits/veggies.

I don't know how long this little serrated peeler has been around but I just discovered it this month. No more dipping peaches in hot water to get their skins off. The peeler works great. I ate more peaches this past month than I have in a long time. I haven't tried it on tomatoes yet, but I'm guessing it will work well on those too. ... show more
