The 1.5-quart, 3-quart and 5-quart Bowls have non-slip bottoms for added stability while mixing, even on a tilt. The Bowls have a brushed stainless steel interior that retains temperature for chilling and marinating, plus a white plastic exterior to shield hands from extreme heat. The curved, corner-free interior allows for easy mixing and cleaning. The 1.5-quart size is convenient for whisking eggs or salad dressings, the 3-quart size has higher walls for use with electric mixers, and the 5-quart size is ideal for doubling recipes, mixing larger quantities, tossing salads and serving popcorn. I absolutely love these bowls. I am trying to reduce plastic in my kitchen, and I love the qaulity stainless steel inside. The rubber bottom really helps to keep a grip on the counter when I use my hand mixer. I dont even have to hang onto the bowl, although I still would. I saw these awesome OXO mixing bowls but was a bit hesitant to purchase because of the price point. However, I finally took the plunge and am very happy with this set. I love the colors (I purchased the blue/gray set). I love the overall feel. This feels so much better than my stainless steel bowls which were functional but basic. This feels like a first class item in the hands with a nice lip. The bowls have a silicon bottom so these are quite sturdy during use, which is great. These clean up easily, which also means that pouring stuff like batter works really well. I wouldn't put these in the dishwasher to clean, and I don't think that would ever be necessary frankly, so that should eliminate any concerns I have seen over rusting. I think if you take reasonable care of these bowls there will be no problems at all. Overall?: Just get these. Yes, expensive. Yes, cheaper alternatives out there. Great bowels with solid construction. Nice rubber ring on bottom to hold the bowl in place. Seems insulated with double wall to maintain temperature. The stainless steel inner section is easy to clean but easily scratche by metal utensil. Overall a great product I highly recommend.

The price almost held me back, but the color convinced me. A year later, I'm still impressed. They are heavy in weight and very durable. The non-slide grip at the bottom really does come in handy. These bowls stay exactly where you place them. The white is bright and darling and the bowls nestle inside of one another perfectly. The 4 star rating is due to the fact that there are times I wish the set came with one bigger bowl. The 3 sizes are a great start, but for bigger items, I wish there was one size up. The bowls do last. The steel inside is rust free and the there isn't a single chip in the the white exterior. They feel high-end. These bowls can take a beating. If you're a heavy mixer, these are for you! If not, you may not need to spend $44 on this set. I don't regret the purchase at this price point because I do use them often and they've held up well. Yes, you can stack 2 sets! I had this question and I see many others did. I took my chances. Total height when stacking 2 sets (large in large, then medium in medium, then small in small) is about 8". Great set, sturdy, dishwasher safe and hardy!
