I got this automatically inflatable life belt to comply with water sports safety requirements in my area without having to wear a life vest in our Central Texas heat. Were it not for the fact that this life belt is complete, I’d give this only 4 stars because it’s missing a User manual; I took a screenshot of the automatic vs manual deployment cap. The only instructions are printed on the back of the belt, half of which are in Chinese, and that only show how to put it on. Otherwise, it included a CO2 cartridge, an emergency whistle as required, and has a manual (oral) inflation tube. It also included a manual cap for the deployment tube for use instead of the water-activated bobbin and clear cap. With the water-sensitive bobbin and cap in place, the belt is to inflate when you either hit the water or pull the cord. With the manual cap installed, you must use the pull cord. I liked that the belt opened fully, instead of partially, for easy access to the inflatable, making it easy to replace the cartridge and for repacking. A D-ring allows you to attach the belt to a leash that you would have attached to your kayak or paddle board, so that you won’t be separated from it. Although it has a convenient, small zippered front pocket, I wouldn’t call it a dry pouch, as it’s not completely waterproof; I’l still put my phone and keys in a waterproof pouch. Overall, I think it’s well made and will work just fine.

This is a pretty tough item to review I ended up buying this because of the price and the simplicity of the product A true review would entail me actually using it and unfortunately, this is something that you use an emergency so I can only assume that it works perfectly

This item comes with a built-in CO2 tank, which I have not yet have a chance to use. However, the product is very well made with very good material and appear to last. Since it is made to be small and portable, the floater interior layout is a little bit confused and won't be access very quick when needed. So I recommend to get yourself practice regularly if you plan to use the manual blower inner tube if you are not planning to use the built-in CO2 tank.

Just got this for my paddleboarding trips. It’s super lightweight and low-profile, which is exactly what I wanted—doesn’t feel bulky like a traditional life jacket. The camo gray looks great too. I love that it comes with the CO2 cylinder already included and can be used in both automatic and manual modes. Haven’t had to deploy it (and hopefully never will), but it gives me peace of mind knowing it’s there. Looking forward to testing it out on the water soon. Seems like a solid choice for anyone who wants safety without sacrificing mobility.

I have a smallish fishing boat. It is a 17 foot center console, a Boston Whaler. It does not have a ton of storage space. Mostly I store life jackets in the cooler/seat. The problem is that then you can't use the cooler without taking all of the life vests out of it. That's not idea. I personally switched to an inflatable vest a while back, which I can easily stash under the center console. This is even better. These belts are really compact and it will be no trouble to store 4 of them on board the boat. Great idea.
