Even for my 2 year old she got bored instantly, it is not an rc car, more like a AAA battery powered car that you can control.

Gave to my son for Christmas. The left remote button (blue) snapped off the first day of use. He is 7, so don't think he used much strength here. The car is great, but the remote is cheap.
