The wheels for my Samsonite suitcase worked great. Fit was perfect. You will need to use a hacksaw to remove the wheels. It's worth the effort. New wheel placement was very simple. Will definitely recommend this product if you want to save a good suitcase and not spend money on a new one.

The wheels are heavy and much better than the original wheels on the suitcase. A Europe trip destroyed all wheels on two different suitcases. Saw some videos about wheels replacements and took a chance with these wheels. Very pleased with the product. It comes with additional spare parts to adjust for wheel width. Used hack saw to remove old wheels. Adding these wheels as easy using included two Allen keys. The suitcase is now rolling smooth without any noise. 4 stars now as not sure about how long they will last. Will update on the longevity after few uses.

Had an American Tourister brand large luggage. Dragged it through a muddy tunnel from airport parking and the wheel seized. I dragged it around for a trip or two to the point that the seized wheel rubber was more of a crescent moon shape and the bellman made a comment. Ordered these, used a Sawzall to cut the press fitting bolts out. Removed the dust cover caps with an automotive pick (small flathead would work). Popped out the old components. Slapped these legit bearing and roller rubber wheels in. Male allen screws come with blue thread sealant compound. This kit fixed my American Tourister to where it rolls better than before. Made the wife happy too. Owning a Sawzall and/or dremmel or other cutting tool for tight spaces made this possible. I originally started to drill the first one out only to find that it was a sold press bolt, so I abandoned that quickly. Remove the dust caps to see if your bad wheel can come off. Measure twice for fitment. Order 1 set and replace all wheels for a smooth roll. I'm glad they send two sizes of bearing axles. Mine worked with the smaller axle. Not noisy. Maybe a level 1 or 2 for ease of replacement. This review took me about the same amount of time to replace all 4. Disclaimer: If you use a Sawzall to cut it, I would recommend the guard on the tool by pressing it into the rubber wheel. This should help keep it from spinning. I straddled the luggage with the wheels upright (so it was upside down). Start the the blade floating on the axle and begin cutting. Cut all 4 in a quick fashion. I considered using a vise and it would make this "safer". Sometimes ya just gotta send it, safety 3rd.

Great quality wheels. I got 45mm, should have picked 50, oh well. Next I realized that the heads on the axle and screw wouldn’t seat on the wheel frame (this is an old Delsey hard case). That was a showstopper because I couldn’t tighten the screw down without tightening the plastic frame into the wheel itself. But then inspiration struck. Went to Home Depot and got some 10-32 stainless machine screws. The axles are fully threaded so I got 3/4” so I don’t have to worry about them unscrewing (1/2 would be fine, the last quarter inch was tough to tighten down so it will hold forever but it was some work). The screw head was small enough to fit in the inset and the longer axles were the perfect length. They roll perfectly and passed my wife’s inspection (sometimes my projects are not suitable for public viewing :)). I hacksawed the old axles off. It took me 1 hour for the first wheel including figuring out the screw situation. 10 minutes a wheel after that.

Had a set of luggage that was still in good shape but the wheels were trashed and would not roll. I put on these wheels and the suitcase rolled better than new. Added more life to a suitcase that would have ended up in the dump. Only thing is they don’t come with directions so some basic handyman skills are helpful. In defense of the manufacturer, there are so many different types of luggage out there it would be difficult to write directions for any one brand. The nice thing is that they come with a couple of options for bolts so you can make them fit most brands. I also really like that the screws come with a pre-applied lock tight so it shouldn’t come apart in the middle of an airport. Highly recommend.
