Best callus remover on the market

I've purchased 3 callus removers previously, 2 different models (both iWeel callus removers failed). All three of them died within 3 months. This is by far, a more robust, heavy duty and ergonomic callus remove than the other models. It is almost twice as much as the other two models that I purchased, but well worth the price. First, with the previous models, any pressure on the roller would stop the motor of the callus remover, so you had to avoid putting too much pressure, so you were constantly stopping and restarting. You never have an issue with the Own Harmony, the motor is heavy duty and never stops while you use it. The rollers themselves are regular and extra coarse. I only use the regular roller, as my callus may not be quite as bad as some people. I might have wanted a fine roller, one that is not as coarse as the regular one. But have a couple of uses, the regular roller smooths out a bit and feels more like a fine roller. The rollers themselves are able to reach the calluses better on your palms, compared to the other two callus removers whose rollers were bigger and it was difficult to reach the calluses on your palms. Not with the Own Harmony, they are slightly thicker in the middle and taper some at the ends. They are just perfect. From an ergonomic perspective, it feels just perfect in your hand and it never feels awkward holding it. And I have no issues charging it or any issue on how long it lasts. I've used it for almost 30 min and the unit was still strong. I do have the circular head version of the Own Harmony, however the roller ones just simply work better. The rotation of the circular version is just too hard to hold in the same spot and it wants to drift away. But this roller version is just amazing. Spend just a little more for this version. I read many of the 1-star ratings to find out why anyone would rate this great product so poorly. Some of the complaints seem related to typical quality control issues, like battery life. All I can say is that I've had mine for about a month-and-a-half, and I felt virtually OBLIGATED to report just how awesome this product has been! My sympathies to those who had issues and returned their units, but they should have exchanged them for a replacement. Mine has been so amazing at removing cracked, flaking, calloused skin from my feet...and speeding up the process over manually filing (formerly for 20-30 minutes at a time). I am SHOCKED and pleasantly pleased with how smooth my feet have been since using this product...and truth be told, I'm not vain at all about feet in any way. It's just that all the rough skin would snag on my socks whenever I removed or put them on...and they felt and looked so rough and dry, too. As a man, I'm a bit reluctant to report just how much less embarrassing my feet look...not that they get looked at all that often. But you know, now when laying by a pool or on a beach perhaps, at least I know that they don't look dry and flaky anymore. Plus they don't itch as much as they used to from being dry and flaky because the skin layer is refreshed and almost supple. All I can say is "give it a shot." I spent more than just a couple of years, THINKING about maybe getting an electric foot/skin file/grinder. YEARS...when I could have been this happy for those same years now, had I purchased this sooner. Handy size, light in your hands, yet so far has been tough enough to gently grind its way down to fresh skin layers in just a few minutes...for BOTH feet combined. Battery life seems fine. I've used it for several days in a row for easily 5 or 10 minutes runtime per session....over the course of a week or longer...and I have never had the battery go dead. One time, it sounded like it was getting a bit slower, so then I charged it for the full 10 hours (never overcharge any rechargeable battery). Then it was good to go for another few days. Good product, good price, gets the job done, but could be improved to become a great product

I tried out the product as soon as I received it. It does grind away callus and dried skin well. It is good value for the price. But as some other reviewers observed, motor is not that powerful. If you press even a bit hard while grinding dry skin, the motor slows and easily stops, even when the battery is fully charged. This could be improved by adding higher speed motor and using more reduction gears. Overall, the product looks sturdy. However, the gears connecting the motor to the roller are all plastic, so I am not sure how long it will last with continuous usage, only the time will tell. Also, the roller has a square plastic rod running across it, that fits into square slots on two sides of the unit. It is a bit hard to push the roller into the slots, because the fit is tight (which is good), and also because the slots rotate and may not align with rod in the roller. I am thinking that the slots will wear out before the gears if rollers are changed often. The product is good, but could have been great, with only a slight increase in price, if metal gears, faster motor with reduction gears and metal slots for the roller were used. I would not mind paying another $10 to $15 more for long term reliability because I do not have to worry about replacing it or looking for others. The unit comes with 1 year warranty that can be extended to 1.5 years for free with product registration. It comes with a little brush to clean the unit and roller after use, and three rollers. One suggestion to users is that it generates fine dust when used on dry skin, so make sure you wear a mask (like the COVID mask), keep your feet on a large newspaper to gather all this dust, then vacuum the area after use. Clean the unit (it can be washed under running water) after use to keep it hygienic. ... show more

Cheap and effective. The last style callus remover you

This callus trimmer is fantastic! It puts my old cheese grater device to shame! If anyone that reads this is having difficulty making a decision to buy it, DONT. Buy one immediately and watch your calluses disappear in in a fine cloud of callus dust. It leaves the underlying and surrounding skin alone and unharmed but attacks the callus with a vengeance. If I had known this device was available and how well it works, I would have bought one years ago. I'm 73 and have physical trouble reaching those spots on my feet with other products but with this electric roller style it's just like shaving your chin with an electric razor. You don't actually have to see the callus to grind it down. You can do it all by feel. It gives you feedback when your in the right spot and when your not and it does not cause any discomfort on the non callus skin. It seems sturdy and well made and I hope it lasts a long time but even if it doesn't I'm buying a replacement right away. No more expensive pedicures with the wife and the technician jokingly asking me any more what color to paint my toenails when the trimming is done! Decent but...

These work well enough but they don't last long. I bought mine in September of last year and it's already dead. Same with the first one I bought. Plus, if you have tough calluses and need to apply a bit of pressure for your device to work, doing that with this particular device will cause it to stop working. The battery will last about 30-40 minutes, depending on how long you've had it. ... show more

Makes great piles of callus powder and much better than a belt sander

I'm in my 60's and never thought much about the calluses on my feet until I retired and those calluses started to give me problems like cracking so badly they would bleed and getting caught in my carpet, making it hard to take my socks on and off so I first started with a gadget that had a razor blade in it and that worked fairly well as long as your paying attention but it would only get some of the callus off and still left quit a bit to be dealt with but how.? I finally stumbled upon this Own Harmony callus remover but with one look I thought I could just use a Dremel sanding drum bit and accomplish the same thing as this Harmony device and so that's what I tried to do and let me advise you of this, NOT a great idea, but it will take off chunks of your foot pretty quickly, so after that idea didn't work so well I bought this harmony. I don't write reviews so I didn't think to take any pictures but really should have taken some just to show how bad my feet were and where they are getting to now. I am now on the third go a round with this device and it works pretty good, This device for my feet is more like the smooth sanding sort of device and it takes a long time for me to make progress with it but I am happy with what it does and it smooths out the rough spots real well but it's going to take a number of attempts to get to where I'd like to be, my feet had calluses maybe a half inch thick or more, pretty bad I'll tell you that. My feet are now getting pretty darn soft and I've finally worked down past the depth of the cracks that were in my calluses and that is still using that razor blade device to carefully remove some of the more stubborn callus and then I spend about an hour grinding away with this device and when I've had enough for one day the towel I lay down to catch the stuff off my feet will be covered with very fine powdered callus stuff that I take out side to shake out. Then I use some of that cream they sell up at the top of this page and that softens up my feet pretty good. It's real nice now to be able to walk on my carpet and not get my calluses hung up in the rug and being able to put socks on and off easily. This device does what it was made for but if your feet are as bad as mine were don't expect to get your feet all baby soft on the first try, like I mentioned I just did my 3rd round with this device and even though the instructions say to only use it for 2-3 seconds on a spot I've sat there and used it on a callus for well over a couple minutes just letting this gadget grind away, the motor is plenty strong enough as well. So I gave it all the five stars and now the owners of this company can stop sending me emails asking if I'm happy, I am HAPPY, and I wrote the review you asked for and YOU are a good company in my opinion so thank you very much you sell a good product. My suggestion is that if your feet are really bad, get one of those razor blade gadgets and one of these Harmony callus sanders and some of that softening cream and soak your feet to get them softer and get to work. I think maybe 3 more tries with this process I've got going and sanding them down with this Harmony and my feet will be softer than I ever remember, so great little callus sander and I'd say it's worth the money as well, good luck. Edit: I couldn't comment under the comment box so thought I'd try here. Hi Petya, Your messages were not excessive, I was sort of joking, your messages were full of helpful tips. Since I wrote this review I've done maybe 5 more treatments and always finish with your Harmony as the final process and my feet have never been better, at least not that I remember. My situation had to be a worse case scenario so it did require the extra razor tool to cut off the extremely thick calluses but what I did not have was a tool that would smooth everything out and your tool did the job perfectly and I'm extremely happy and my feet are probably about as good as it will get so now all I have to do is keep using just your tool after my showers to keep everything under control and keep my feet soft like they are now.
