  • The Water Bottle That Changed Me
Color: Shy Marshmallow Size: 24 oz Pattern Name: Water Bottle
So, I’ve always struggled with staying hydrated. I’ve never been one of those “water bottle girlies” that carries around their super trendy Yeti or Stanley cup everywhere they go. Instead, I proudly carried whatever flavor carbonated cancer drink I was into that week, bearing my unsettling eye bags and dry, reptilian skin for the world to see. That was until my husband bought me this water bottle for my birthday. Now - let me preface this with the fact that I have incredibly high standards for water bottles, solely because it’s hard to like a bottle of something you don’t like to drink. BUT - I stood no chance against Owala’s arsenal of benefits. 1. The mouthpiece is seamless. You can choose to tip it up and drink it, which I will probably never do because a large part of my hatred of water bottles is caused by me tipping them up too far, thus rushing too much water into my mouth, which then spills it out of my mouth and onto myself, and that’s just not a good look for anybody. OR you can use the straw that’s attached to the mouthpiece. I LOVE the fact that the top of the straw is actually part of the lid, so I can always cap it off. Which brings me to my next point… 2. Leak-proof lid. Once the lid is closed, you can shake that baby (please don’t shake babies) til kingdom come and it will NOT spill. Swoon. 3. It fits in a CUPHOLDER. YES. IT DOES. There is nothing I LOATHE more on this EARTH than drinks that don’t fit in a cupholder so you just have to hold them like a dork in morning traffic. Keep your hands on 10 and 2, not a hand on 10 and a hand on your fat Yeti thermos. I said what I said. 4. It keeps your drink cold. I put ice in it at 7AM and it’s still there at noon when I refill, then by 5pm my water is still bone-rattling cold. My sensitive teeth are thriving. After these past weeks of testing, it peeves me to say that Owala has turned me into your stereotypical water bottle girlie. I may leave the stove on when I leave the house, but I never leave without my Owala. My sunken eyes have risen, my skin is supple, and my kidneys have a new lease on life. I may like this hydration thing after all. Above all, I can’t recommend this water bottle enough. It truly does deserve 5 stars. Total game-changer. :) ... show more

  • Best bottle I could find
Color: Camo Cool Size: 24 oz Pattern Name: Water Bottle
I recently purchased the Owala 24-ounce insulated bottle and it has quickly become my go-to for staying hydrated throughout the day. The first thing that struck me was the design - sleek, modern, and available in a variety of colors that pop. The bottle feels durable yet lightweight, perfect for daily use. Functionality-wise, it doesn’t disappoint. It’s leak-proof and insulated, which means my drinks stay cold for hours, even on the hottest days. The built-in straw is a game-changer for sipping on the move without the hassle of unscrewing a cap or tilting the bottle. What I appreciate the most is the attention to detail. The straw has a cover that keeps it clean, and the bottle fits in most car cup holders and backpack side pockets, making it incredibly travel-friendly. Plus, the loop handle is perfect for carrying or clipping to a bag. Cleaning is a breeze, which is always a concern with reusable bottles. The wide mouth accommodates a bottle brush and the straw components disassemble for a thorough wash. In summary, the Owala bottle is a thoughtfully designed product that delivers on its promise of convenience and style. It’s a reliable companion for anyone looking to up their water intake without the fuss. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • 24 oz fits in Tesla Y cup holder! Measurements + dimensions
Color: Shy Marshmallow Size: 24 oz Pattern Name: Water Bottle
TIP: Often on sale for less at Whole Foods! PICS: -When filled with water, the 40 oz will obviously be heavier, but it also has a rounded top that makes it harder to grip all that weight. I ordered a hand grip to help with this https://a.co/d/1Dwrhea . -The 24oz is the most comfy one to grip since it has flattened sides, plus it's the lightest. -The 24 and 32 oz have an ~8oz difference in volume and weight since they're about the same size (FYI water is the same in OZ weight and FL OZ volume) -The 32oz is actually shorter than the 24oz. I wish they kept it as narrow as the 24oz but taller so it could fit in cup holders. -The lids and bottle opening are all the same size and can be swapped (except for the 40 oz straw). It can be assumed that the handle is strong enough to carry 3.5+ lb regardless of size. -The 24oz fits in Tesla Y center and door cup holders. It doesn't go all the way down in the center one and can get slightly stuck in the tapered hole. It helps to use a little riser to prevent this. The gray 32 oz can squeeze into the door holder but rubs and bends the outer plastic. The white 40 oz is too big. =========== UPDATE: Torn between the 24 and 40 oz. Less refill trips vs lightweight portability. I wanted to like the 24 since it fits in my cup holder, but I constantly found it to be empty. Got an offset cup holder expander for the car https://a.co/d/6Tt8FKP The 40 requires pressing on the button then moving the hand down to hold it. It is possible to just pop and hold without moving your hand, but you'll need to grip it at the rounded top and is easier with the boot, but harder to hold when full of water. Got a transparent boot and hand grip to protect against drops and tips, and to show off stickers https://a.co/d/1Dwrhea ============ ORIGINALLY FOR THE 24oz: Pros: -Straw + chug, obviously -Fast to refill by using the chug hole (for controlled streams), which is also a game changer for bottles with straws. Spend less of your life twisting off tops! -The flattened sides make it easy to grip -The handle acts as a lock when notched down. Needs to be notched up to access the button. -Closing the cap conveniently moves the opened handle back to vertical position Cons: -Needs a brush for cleaning (XS hands can fit thru the 2.5" opening) -"Not for use with hot or perishable liquids" as stated in the manual (I'll mostly be using mine for water and tea) -Most of the color combos make it look like a cheap toy, however, some of the Star Wars and Marvel ones look cool. -Build quality could be better: -The corners under the hinge can get dirty -The exposed spring can get dirty and does not look very nice -Plastic injection marks are clearly visible on the top lid ... show more
