Starting with the both drink options of sip or chug, mega cute color combinations, ergonomic grip, cold retention is great and different size to fit everyone of your family's thirst. These are a study bottle that can keep water cool for long periods of time. Highly recommend. Our family has several of these. The lid is great to allow it to be carried or closed securely. The free sip cap is nice allowing you to drink from straw or pour. Depends on how thirsty you are. These have withstood many drops with very minimal signs of any damage. Only cosmetic blemishes on a few. These can keep water cool for long periods. We noted as we have left in car overnight to still find drinks cool the next day. I can't speak to heat insulation as we have never used for hot. Cap is.dishwasher safe but we hand wash bottle. Highly recommend for a great bottle! ... show more

We were traveling on Thursday, April 9 and flew out of Charlotte, NC. I filled my Owala with cold tap water at home and drove 2.5 hours to Charlotte Airport. I chose to leave my Owala in the car, couldn’t take the chance of TSA keeping my Owala. We returned on Monday, April 13. We got in the car and it was very hot inside. I took a sip from my Owala and it was still cold! Not as cold as when we left but cold! Your ad says “stays cold or hot for 25 hours!” You can change that to 120 hours! I love the features of the Owala. The colors are so fun, the straw feature to sip from is awesome or the spout is convenient as well. I love the carry handle and the push button release is excellent! I bought two. One for me and one for husband. We LOVE them and would highly recommend the Owala for anyone who has the desire and an awesome water bottle! I purchased this Owala water bottle a little over a year ago and it was in my top favorites. The flip-up lid is a great feature, and I like that you can use it with or without the straw. It’s completely leak-proof, comfortable to carry, and has held up well with daily use. My only complaint had been that it doesn’t fit in most standard cup holders. But after about a year, I did notice that it stopped keeping my water cold as long as it used to, and the ice began melting much faster. I reached out to Owala customer service but unfortunately never received a response. Even with that issue, I still prefer the lid design over brands like Yeti or RTIC, so I would consider purchasing another Owala in the future. If you value a convenient, leak-proof lid design, it’s definitely worth considering. I just sincerely hope the insulation lasts longer on the next one. ... show more

I’ve bought a lot of water bottles over the years, and while most of them were just “okay,” this one is by far the best. The Owala FreeSip is easy to carry, keeps my drinks hot or cold, and its design makes it simple to drink however I want — with a straw or by tilting. Now I can fill it with hot coffee at night before bed and when I wake up in the morning, my coffee is still hot and on my nightstand! The biggest win for me is that it actually fits in my iColor, which comes in very handy when I don't want to carry my purse! That alone makes it a favorite.
