I think the value for me is her happiness. Excellent gift for her. The size is compact and doesn’t require a lot of space. The light is much brighter than her old unit and seems to work better. Tip: invest in a quality top coat. After a poor salon gel mani inspired me to try an at home kit, I ordered this LED lamp that I found on reddit and a set of gel colors also from amazon. This lamp comes with a button for a lower setting which was clutch for the top coat I used which packed a ton of heat. The lamp is light weight but effective. I was in search of a good quality LED lamp as I just started doing my own gel manis at home, but couldn't afford to purchase one for $100+ I came across this one on Amazon and to be honest I was skeptical because of the affordable price. I've used the lamp twice now and I can't rave enough about it. For starters it functions great. Generally 120 minutes and my nails are perfectly cured. The lamp is lightweight so it's easy to carry around if you have to. I was even able to cure my nails while I was in bed. The motion detector is sensitive which is great. I have owned several lights over the years and the cheap ones have not cured the gel fully and will lift within a few days. BUT, this is the first light I have owned that actually cures the gel fully in less than 2 minutes. When I used to get my nails done, I would "feel" it cure on initial application. Im talking about the bit of heat when the nails go under the light? Never at home did I have that. I do now, with this light. The gel stays on until I decide to take it off.
