I love how easy this nail art stamper works! I've seen videos where the stamp head was primed first, but I used mine straight out of the box. I guess the need to prime the stamp head depends on if you are using traditional nail polish, maybe. I used a uv/led gel polish, and it came out beautifully. The depth of the smile line depends on the angle you apply the stamper to your nail. I started horizontally in the center of my nail, then rotated the stamper at a 45° angle towards the outer edges. As you can see in the pic, my natural nails are pretty short, so I used the short stamper to create my look. I've read some reviews about the silicone stamp head tearing, but I guess that all depends on the shape of your nails and how hard you press down with the stamper. I love how easy it is to clean the silicone stamp head. I used slip solution on a lint-free cloth to remove the gel, and my stamper looks like new! Makes a great french every time. Make sure you get this pack tho and not just the one size if you want to use it in different length nails. You will definitely need the larger one for long acrylics. And the smaller one is perfect for pedicures.

The Saviland French Tip Nail Stamp is super easy to use. I haven't done a full set yet, just a test nail. I did about 3-4 swipes of the white polish onto the silicone stamper and pushed the nail in at an upward angle. I repainted the stamper and did a second "stamp" after curing the first. The second stamp was a little thick so I painted it out some, but that was more so user error than the device. Of course, before I could clean it off my dog knocked it to the floor.. so I had to do an actual wash to get the polish and debris off. But it seems like it would be easy to clean in normal situations. ... show more

I love french manicure but struggle getting the smile line just right. This stamper hack is amazing!!! It took me a few times to get the hang of it but I’m pleased with how my nails turned out. My dominant hand came out equally nice. The only issue I had was the stamper started to crack in a spot after a few nails but I suspect it is because my nails are pretty long and I needed to press hard to get the smile line where I prefer. Also, I didn’t have to do any prep to the stamper. I used right out of the box and just cleaned off between each hand. If you’re interested, I use CND Shellac products. My preferred french manicure colors are Beau (sheer pink) and Cream Puff (white). The red is Decadence. ... show more

In the photo, it looks like the glitter might be on the holder. Replacement heads do not look like there is any glitter in the silicone. There is a ton of mini glitter imbedded in the silicone head, as well as in replacement heads so that it can’t be washed off. Will be very distracting, as I’m using for water marble nail art done w a stamper. Would also be difficult to use for regular stamping, as unable to see finer details in the stamp to be picked up due to the fine nature of the glitter. I also think the glitter would be distracting when attempting to use when trying to make straight lines in French tips. Silicone head on stamper was stuck in the cap.One more thing. Only one scraper card. Scraper card indicates the stamper is expected to be used for nail stamping as well. Will be returning. ... show more

I gave 4 stars for the stamper kit. I also bought the stamper plates, which do not come with instructions. The only instructions are in the kit. I tried several times to use a plate and I’m not sure if a specific gel is use to lift the stamp that you want to use, but I could not get a clear stamp, only a blob of gel polish. If they require a certain type of stamping gel than it should be sold with the kit. Instructions need to be included with the stamping plates. ... show more
