They advertise that thing can hold up to 500 pounds of human. I'm not at that level but I'm certainly giving it a workout. And so far, the thing holds me up. Had it almost a month and it hasn't collapsed yet. Comfortable enough, padding is very light. Probably be more comfortable if my tailbone had healed better from a breakage from a fall a few years back but that's a me problem and probably not one you're going to have. Even with my broken backside I can still manage to sit in it for hours. I've slept on this thing quite often as I have stomach acid issues with laying vertical too long. So for every month it survives my copious girth it'll keep a star until it makes it past the five-month mark. At that point, I'm going to say even if it breaks the next day, I've got my money's worth out of it and five stars is accurate. A temporary solution to my lack of recliner problem while I shop for an actual easy-chair. ... show more

My wife loves this chair. She has serious lower back problems and she sits in this chair for hours. She even fells asleep and spends to night on the back deck. She said it's the only thing comfortable on her back. Great stuff!

I love this chair, but it doesn't go to full zero gravity. The size is very wide and I like the extra support under your butt. I wish the extra support went a little further towards the bend of the knee, in case someone sits on the end of the chair. Otherwise this is a very sturdy chair. I took this chair to sleep on for 3 nights because I sleep best at zero gravity. The cushion is fantastic and very comfortable. My daughter enjoys taking naps in this chair outside. ... show more

I don’t think it goes far enough back. A zero gravity chair should have your legs and head at the same point with your middle a little lower. My husband had shoulder surgery so I thought this being wide would fit the bill, but no it did not go back far enough. I love the cushion, great touch, but the ties will not last long and there is no place to ties them without the ties and cushion slipping down. One reason I bought this was that it had a zippered bag, which can be stored on my deck without the risk of getting wet. ... show more

I am giving this a one star because while the chair is super comfy, I got a flawed chair and neither the manufacturer nor Amazon will make it right. It's kind of hard to be a zero gravity chair, when the chair doesn't stay where you locked it in. You can see where the defect is.
