This is a very nice looking, and more importantly, comfortable Adirondack chair. The retractable ottoman is a nice touch, and it's nice to sit on with or without using the ottoman. The whole thing went together very quickly and easily. Instructions were clear and to the point. I have it on an upstairs outdoor balcony/porch, mostly out of the elements so I'm hoping it holds up through the seasons. I've already spent a few evenings with a cigar on this chair and I'm very happy with it.

Goes together fairly easy and its comfortable. Suggest you paint or otherwise coat with high quality outdoor coating product for longer life. Seems robust enough. Dont think you will be disappointed, though dont kid yourself, this isnt teak. Its lightweight so assume some kind soft wood and likely wouldnt last long left out in the weather.

This chair is comfortable and seems sturdy. The slide out footrest and ability to fold it for storage are nice design features. The manual says 30-40 minutes to assemble it. I found that to be true. The hardware packs were well labeled, and the wood pieces were easy to identify.

This is the second folding Adirondack chair we've ordered from SoliWood, and we enjoy them both. This is a true Adirondack chair, with a curved back and properly shaped bottom for comfort, not just a flat, uncomfortable "Adirondack style" chair, and it is pretty comfortable, and the built-in "ottoman" turns it into a great chaise lounge! I do wish the back was curved a little more, but that might interfere with the folding ability, and it's still pretty comfortable. The quality is good for the price point. On par with most flat pack furniture - could be better, but you'd have to pay more, and there's really not much to complain about. Assembly is easy - especially if you use a drill to drive the wood screws - and took maybe 30 minutes fro me to assemble it by myself. It might go quicker with two people, but if you've ever assembled flat pack furniture you'll have no trouble with this chair. Especially since the slatted parts are already assembled. Just work somewhere where you won't mind the little bits of foam packing that will be floating around. The paint is sprayed on, and is a bit thin in some areas, so if you plan to leave this chair outside in a humid environment, you might want to give it a coat of clear varnish for better protection. Ours will be fairly well protected from the elements, so I'm not too worried about that, but will probably repaint it in a few years. I like that it folds up, so when the weather turns bad, we can put it away easily. The folding operation is a little awkward, but as long as you don't lose your grip and slam it closed, it's not difficult to fold or unfold. The built-in ottoman is a neat touch. When it's stowed, you really can't even tell it's there. Pulling it out requires you to either stand up or spread your legs really wide, then just pull it straight out and unfold the legs, and you'll be able to put your feet up and enjoy basking in the sun. Personally, I prefer the little folding Adirondack foot stools, but my wife likes this one better, so that's more a matter of personal preference. Add some cushions and you'll be asleep in no time . . . Overall, this is a great chair for the price, and far more comfortable than the fake "Adirondack style" chairs we've been able to find locally.

My Husband has always wanted one of these but we have a tiny yard. The retractable foot rest is so convenient and space saving. Not to mention this was such an easy piece of Furniture to put together! The color is great and it's so comfortable.

What a nice looking chair. There’s plenty of room to sit in comfort. I love that it came fully assembled and not in pieces. The leg rest tucks neatly away when not in use.

It took three of us, but two could to the assembly. It came to together pretty easily and it's very sturdy. Love the built in foot rest. We'll put a clear coat on it, it is raw wood, to better protect from the elements.
