    • Very high quality chair
This is an extremely high quality wooden Adirondack chair. I have another Adirondack chair that I got at a hardware store 20 years ago, and this one seems to be of better quality than that one, so I expect it will last a very long time. It is real wood; no MDF. It is nicely stained. It is comfortable to sit in, even for heavier set people. It came partially assembled with the need to attach various pieces together. For instance, the back was mostly assembled, but needed to be attached to the seat, as well as putting on the front legs and arms. I was able to complete assembly by myself in about an hour. The instructions for assembly are ok. While parts are labeled such as “A,” “B” and “C” in the instructions, the actual parts did not have any stickers or other indicators of which part was which. But the drawings were good enough that you could figure it out by looking. I am not sure how I feel about the folding feature. On one hand, it made it much easier to get the chair from inside the house where I assembled it to outdoors where I want to keep it. As Adirondacks are typically larger chairs (and this one is, too), they can be difficult to get through doorways, especially when tricky angles are involved, and the fold up feature makes this MUCH easier. On the other hand, I can’t really imagine a situation where I would bring this chair to an event/temporary setting. It is made of real wood, it is large and relatively heavy, and not that easy to move around, even when folded. ... show more

    • Some wood imperfections and not sealed
The wood for this chair is very nice, but before I use it, I am going to need to use some kind of sealer to protect it from the weather since it doesn't have anything on it now. It was fairly easy to put together. There were a couple of pieces where the holes didn't line up, so sit took a little more work with them. There are also a couple of places that really need to be sanded to get rid of a crack and some other imperfections. Overall, pretty and comfortable chair. ... show more

    • SUPER Impressive Lake Chair
I had never seen a folding Adirondack chair, but I am blown away by this product. Extremely easy to assemble. Instructions note around 30 - 40 minutes and I can say with confidence that estimate is correct. After getting it all buttoned up, it was extremely easy to fold and it does store nicely leaning against a wall. Size is that of any standard Adirondack chair. I was very comfortable sitting it and I could easily see myself falling asleep in this besides a lake. I have had similarly stained wooden outdoor products before and based on my experience with those, I would want to put some sealant or protectant over the existing stain otherwise you’re going to be sanding and restaining every year or every other year. SUPER sturdy though! Again, I wasn’t sure how it would feel as a folding Adirondack, but it is certainly sturdy enough to fall asleep in. Really blown away by this product.     • I wish that it came assembled but still an awesome chair!
So first off, make sure you have about 30-45 min to spare before you open this box. For some reason, I thought that the chair would come already assembled (especially since it folds up), but it does not. Assembly wasn’t difficult it was just time consuming. Other than that, it’s a great chair. It’s extremely sturdy and folds easily. I have no need for 2 of these chairs, but if I did, I would definitely purchase another one. Nice chair once assembled. Assembly instructions are not super clear and parts are NOT labeled. A little bit of a jig saw puzzle. Listing said "Pre-Assembled Backrest and Seat Board" but only seat board was sorta put together. Backrest not put together at all. A little lower to the ground then expected but still high enough for the fire pit. ... show more
