I'm not a Pro by any means, but I do have an accurate voice, and ears. Using the free WavPad recording program that is also available here on Amazon, the Ovedisa Mic surprised me. Especially if all you're doing is Talking. For Singing I feel the internal programming (output levels) are set on the "safe" side, but if you're running the sound through decent recording software, you can use the equalizer in the programming to match what comes out of your mouth accurately. The only issue I have with this "bundle" is the c-clamp type mount that they provide to hold the Mic-arm down to your desk. While the adjustable arm itself, and the Mic isolation-mount seem well made, that base-clamp will bend and loosen the first time you try to pull the Mic-arm towards yourself. My solution was to drill a hole in the desk, and drop the post directly into the desk with a couple of steel washers to protect the surface, and allow smooth rotation. The quality of your voice begins with you, whether talking, or singing. This Microphone, with slight adjustments in the recording program (for singing use) reproduces my voice accurately, as long as I do my part, and I have an extended vocal-range. For "Speaking" purposes, it is accurate as is, IMO. ... show more

I had a blue yeti prior to this, the sound quality is almost identical, the background noise suppression is honestly better for everyday use in something like discord. Recording I still use the yeti but honestly for the price of this mic and the setup it comes with I cannot complain about anything really. ... show more

    • Buzzing and Static noises at random

I bought this mic because I had broken my other one, and just that I needed something better. The first time I plugged it in I did a sound check. And on that test it was just straight buzzing and static noises. I then unplugged it and plugged it back in, It was fine after that. Soon after I loaded up MW2 and got into a multiplayer match and my teammates just randomly started to complain about my mic, saying about how its un-bearable and so I had to turn it off. I went to the test microphone in the audio tab in the game, and the exact same buzzing and static sounds were going off. I still haven't resolved this issue, but each time I see It happen I have to turn it off, then turn it back on, It gets real annoying. I don't know if I missed a step in the process of setting it up, or if its just the mic. Overall when it does work it sounds good, and has the structure of a gaming mic. Though please let me know if there is something I can do to stop the static and buzzing noises all together, that would help a ton. Thank you ... show more

I mean. It does the job but not a great job. The base doesn't fit correctly on my desk so we will need to screw it on the wood and that doesn't make me too happy. The quality of the sound is basic, I do much better recordings with my Samsung Galaxy Note. I guess I'll keep but not too excited about it. ... show more

Boom arm was wobbly, and I didn't like how it sounded. I tried adjusting in OBS, but the mic just felt capped. I adjusted the volume in windows setting to 100 and could finally hear myself clearly, but there was that constant whine when you gain something too much. Just wasn't for me. I always had the mic 2"-5" from my mouth and was definitely with in range. ... show more
