**UPDATE** Hello! Since this review I have a total of around nine labrador and pointer dogs running around my property at any give time and I am STILL in search of good dog toys. I have now bought about two dozen of these Invincible toys. The squeaker, on average, dies after five minutes even though it is suppose to be puncture-proof. Unlike most toys, which are shredded easily past the "broken squeaker and torn out stuffing" stage, the body of the snake holds up a lengthy period of time. Multiple tug-o-war secessions or singular dogs pulling them off to the side to chew on alone. I prefer these over rope because my dogs will swallow the pieces of rope which cause indigestion and bowel movement issues. Unfortunately I have not found anything that works but at least this has lasted a lot longer than products that are similar or higher prices. My dogs are capable of tearing through Kong toys, rubber tires, and hardened plastic toys. Toys that say "no stuffing" are torn apart like a paper towel. Those stuffed animals you slip around plastic water bottles are the worse. Unfortunately the one thing that is suppose to last, Nyla Bones, they won't touch. For balls, at least I have a combination of several items: Max Glow Ball Dog Toy Size: Large (5.75" H x 4.25" W x 3" D) I do not know why but they have not chewed up the chuck it balls into pieces even though it is a hollow rubber ball. They enjoy the whistle sound it makes if you bounce it or throw it through the air. Also, when they gnaw on it, it makes a squishing sound. Virtually Indestructible Best Ball for Dogs, 10-inch This is a VERY hard piece of plastic in the shape of a ball. Think the bowling ball from a children's bowling playset. It makes a VERY loud noise on hardwood floors if dropped. Starmark Ball Toy for Dogs, L, Foam, Durable (Colors Vary) Made of a soft foam material. After they chewed up the first ball, they didn't chew up the other 2. I now have about 8 of these floating around the household. Chuckit! Large Kick Fetch Ball This is a huge ball that my dogs enjoy chasing but I have to make sure to hide in a closet because the seams will prove too easy to chew through. **Original Review** BACKGROUND I have two labradors and, with my friends dogs over, we have a combined combination of five labradors at a time. If you have seen the film "Marley & Me" then you will understand our dogs. They tear through concrete, dry wall, and, well, just about anything they can get their paws and mouths on. It is very important to have plenty of toys for them to keep pre-occupied as most of the destruction is caused by dogs that are bored. Unfortunately, many items are not able to withstand this combined destructive force. I spotted these "Invincible" line of toys and thought they were worth a try. I ended up ordering basically one of every style and size. APPEARANCE The toys come in different sizes, colors, and shapes. The most common are the Gecko and the Snake. The toys are covered with a more durable cloth that is fuzzy and suppose to withstand quite a bit of chewing. Inside the toys are what are described as durable squeakers that, if punctured, will still squeak even after hours of being bitten and chewed upon. The larger the toy ordered, the more squeakers that are sewn into the toy. RELIABILITY I have to admit these toys did last about ten times as long as any other toy I have given my dogs. Unfortunately, nothing is indestructible. My dogs managed to find kinks in the lining of the toys that, once penetrated, will cause the toys to open leaving stuffing and squeak toys all over the place. The squeakers did withstand quite a bit of chewing before the squeaking went silent. I noticed that the snake toy did last quite a bit longer than the gecko or the little dragon characters. The snake had separate compartments for the squeakers and so, if one was torn out, the others survived. On the Gecko once its middle section was torn open the squeakers were lost. CUSTOMER SUPPORT Not utilized PROS: ++ Lasted about 10X times the length of time as other "invincible" toys CONS: ++ They are not truly "invincible" and will be destroyed over time CONCLUSION The invincible line of toys did last a lot longer than most toys that I have purchased for my labradors. I would recommend the snake over the gecko or other styles. I have had to toss the geckos as they were shredded but the snakes are still with me to this day six months later. Also note, even though "Invincible" is in the title, these toys are definitely not although you will save an incredible amount purchasing these toys once and having a gradual destruction process versus having to buy new toys continuously over the same period of time that these lasted. ... show more

I want to simultaneously give this 5 stars and 0 stars so I'll average it at 3. Why 5 stars? My dog LOVED this. She played with it nonstop for three hours. She turned 1 and it was her birthday gift. I have not seen her so in love with a toy before. She wore herself out with the absolute bliss of playing with this. Why 0 stars? My dog is rough on toys. I've tried a few "invincible" toys... and well. She had it ripped open during hour two and the squeaker torn apart. So it didn't last long. I bought this when it was 50% off so it came out to about $4 which might have been worth it for how much my dog loved it... If I would have spent full price I think I would have been ticked off. If this toy ever goes on sale again I would probably get it again with the knowledge that it's not going to last BUT my dog will love the heck out of it before tearing it apart. ... show more

We’ve purchased this toy twice. The first one our dog has had for over a year and finally needed to be replaced. The seam along the edge started coming off. She still prefers the old one over the new one though!!!

    • Cute but lasted less than two hours

This large yellow gecko is very cute. We ordered it for our 20m old, 55lb APB puppy. While it did seem to be constructed of durable materials, she was able to to tear it open at a side seam within about ten minutes of play. After that she killed and removed the squeakers, then proceeded to systematically shred it into small pieces that soon covered our living room floor. The entire process kept her entertained for about an hour and a half and she obviously had a great time with it. This does seem like a nice toy but it isn’t a good fit if you plan to have it last beyond one play session. I would probably buy it again just because she did have so much fun shredding it up. ... show more

This product is well made but definitely not “invincible “ as the name of the product states. My 8-month-old puppy ripped it apart in just minutes. Granted he is a very hard chewer, but still, when they list a product as “invincible “ I expect it to be just that.

I think it's a great product. It's certainly lasted longer than the others around our house but neither of our GoldenDoodles will ever play with it. I think it's because they don't know what it is. After five hours,?the outer seam edging had started to rip off, and I thought the toy would be done. However, I snipped the loose piece off with scissors, and the inner pieces were sewn extremely well, and the toy has stayed relatively tough ever since. The toy has held up to my three French bulldogs playing tug-of-war in three separate directions. I am now going on a couple weeks with this toy and it has held up against the odds amazingly well and the dogs love it. The squeakers only lasted maybe an hour before they were broken and now they only rattle however, my dogs love the fact that they rattle . Lasted longer than the rabbit tuffy i bought at the same time and was already ripped open twice. So other than the outside seam im very pleased- squeakers never last against Moose! ... show more
