The ribbon was perfect. I cut it and it didn't have a bunch of frays. (I hate when ribbon does that) I got the color black, it was a little see through which was perfect. I definitely needed a mesh ribbon. The ribbon was thin but you can layer it up to make it less see through. It was a decent amount for the price. ** I used this for some special effects makeup.
