    • Attractive chair with a nice finish
I had low expectations for a chair at this price. I was pleasantly surprised. The finish was nicer than I expected. It was easy to assemble. It seems well made and sturdy. The pegs covering the screw holes are wooden and cover them nicely after assembly. I added a little wood glue to the pegs before tapping them in with a hammer (using a cloth so as not to damage the pegs). The end result looks like it cost much more than I paid. ... show more

Assembly was relatively easy, all the necessary hardware was there along with an all purpose tool for adding the required screws. Fit and finish were excellent. Suggest that assembly is a lot easier if you have a helper. All-in-all a superior product at a very easy to handle price.

Looks really nice on my porch and was relatively easy to assemble. It also feels nice to sit in and rock. Very reasonable price and fast shipping. It came with an Allen wrench but I suggest that you speed things up with a drill attachment. This rocker would also be suitable for indoor use, too.

    • Disappointed
After reading reviews and price shopping, I decided on this rocking chair in white. Ordering and delivery was as expected. I put it together relatively easily too. After it was assembled, I sat down to find it awkwardly uncomfortable. It was preliminary purchased as "decoration", more so than being used every day so I figured, it looks great, out of the packaging, it will be perfect. It was given as a gift for Christmas so living in New England, it was kept indoors for a few weeks only to finally be placed on a covered porch with no direct sunlight. Yesterday, 3-4 months of it being exposed to JUST cold weather. No precipitation or direct sun, I noticed slats on the seat are cracking. Basically, it is not holding up AT ALL as expected. Like I said it was more about the looks and now I realize, that part is not holding up as well as expected. It wasn't cheap, I could have purchased one for much less money and probably had the same results. I bought this one thinking it would hold up for some time, especially seeing the location it was purchased for. Luckily I did only buy one as this was my test since I need at least another 5 of them and planned to purchased them this summer. Glad I found out on my test subject. Sorry for the bad review, as I am always so optimistic about things amd always take previous reviews into consideration, but seeing that the reason for this purchase was really the look, its not going to hold up to its end of the bargain. I think I will have to just break down and buy a much more expensive one as I feel, you get what you pay for and here, I did not get my money's worth at all! ... show more

The chair is beautiful and sturdy. You have to assemble it. One screw was missing but we had one on hand. My husband loves sitting and rocking outside. I finally got something for him that he loves. Well worth the money.
