  • Very cute
This greenhouse is exactly what I wanted. It’s small enough to fit on the side of my house, but large enough that I could put quite a few plants in there. It took my husband quite a few hours to build, but he was able to do it all by himself. I would say it took him around 4 hours to build. There is a window on the top to let in air. The clear side paneling is a plastic material. It’s not a hard plastic, but more of a medium hard plastic material that is accordion like. There is no flooring for the greenhouse, but that doesn’t bother me. My only 2 suggestions: 1. make sure you triple check your inside measurements before you buy your planters 2. During summer I’m leaving the door open, my plants started roasting in there because it REALLY traps in the heat Happy planting! ... show more

  • Sturdy, well made, nice fit and finish
Directions more difficult than IKEA, very small print- bring your glasses! All parts present though, and it's stood up to several storms well, feels strong, but is easy to relocate by one medium sized person lifting it from inside. Nice vent window.

  • Not impressed
Worst directions ever. Polycarbonate is very cheap and unsteady material. Be prepared to have to put silicon adhesive.

  • Nice greenhouse, TERRIBLE instructions.
It was packaged well. Only a few aluminum pieces were bent and had to have the channel re-opened (keep the included wrench handy for this). The instructions were vague and did not specify front or back leaving you with the very real possibility of building it with the door in the wrong place. The pieces had little label stickers but some were missing and some were mislabeled leading to confusion and frustration. The aluminum roof rail next to the opening window had the hole drilled in the wrong place. The included tools were a nice thought but you’ll definitely want to use a screw gun (low torque setting) with a 5mm allen bit for all those screws. Extra hardware was provided which was also helpful. I’m a fairly competent DIY’er and this probably took me 6 hours after all the disassembly and reassembly but it turned out nice. One more tip, the handle that opens and closes the roof window is sharp and could easily cut your head. I dipped the end in plastic dip meant for coating tool handles which did the job nicely. ... show more

  • Not that bad to assemble
It took me and my partner a little less than four hours to assemble. Just go slow on the first panel until you get comfortable with how to read the visual-only instructions. Make sure you connect the right pieces together. (Don’t mix up 35A and 35B). It is really cute (4x6) and will be perfect for seed starting. It held up in medium wind today. ... show more

  • Looks good, hard to assemble
I ordered in January and installed in March. Overall, I am satisfied with the finished product but the assembly was frustrating due to the poor instructions. It is very hard to determine in some cases which direction some of the parts are to go, therefore creating issues much farther along. At that point too late to go back so had to improvise. Just a little more detail and closer in view of assembly could make this much much easier. As for the sturdiness, time will tell. The aluminum frame seems sturdy enough, but I have concern over the panels. they are not lexan or plexiglass but a thin corrugated plastic. Think how corrugated cardboard is structured, but with plastic. Also, the panels fit into slots in the aluminum frame with sometime not a lot of overlap so concerned a strong wind or snow on top would collapse the panel in. I improvised by adding clear caulk around a lot of the panels to hold in place and prevent water/drafts/bugs from getting in. ... show more

  • Very poor instructions and some wrong parts but good in the end.
The order had a missing back rail (4) and two front rails (3). I was able to fix that by drilling through the metal. The instructions were very difficult to follow which required some disassembly and reassembly. The center beam for the window had the hole in the wrong place which required another hole to be drilled. In the end though I got a mini greenhouse and I’m happy with it. It is in no way easy to assemble but you will get there in the end. ... show more

  • Tools with the Savvy to Improvise
Well it's a $300 Greenhouse, you get what you pay for. It will work for us, but I installed on top of 20 inch walls so the average person could walk in, otherwise it's a kid's playhouse. Assembly takes more tools than supplied, a combo allenwrench-phillips screwdriver won't cut it. Three of the triangular panels were over sized and had to be trimmed. A heavy duty scissors will work. Not all the holes were drilled to assemble the frame. For this you'll need a drill and bits. The instructions (specifically the "tagging of parts") did not match the all the tagged parts supplied. Some mislabeled, some missing labels. Throw your tape measure in the drawer, it won't help unless you can randomly convert millimeters to inches in your head. Savvy and the experience to improvise when needed is required to assemble, amateurs should not attempt. I was able to assemble myself, but 2 people would be easier. Once together, not terrible, will serve it's intended purpose. Longevity yet to be determined. Finished footprint: 70" x 48 1/8". ... show more
