As others have mentioned, this was a bear to put together. Now that it is together, I think I’m really going to love it. It’s not a high-end greenhouse, but I think it’s good value for money. Just don’t expect to put this together alone or over a weekend. The instructions are almost all in pictures only, and very important details are shown in tiny, easy to overlook images. It’s very easy to miss steps, and then have to go back and do them later. Also, some of the area around screws are very tight, and hands, let alone tools, don’t always fit well. Really though, now that the pain is over, I can’t wait to put pvc pipes on for catching water (it has gutter attachments for this purpose), add lights, solar fans, shelving . . . ... show more

Im not sure if the other reviewers who said this blew apart on them live in a tornado zone or didnt assemble this correctly (which i do not blame them if they did) but the sturdiness and finished product is worth it if you have time and patience. The instructions are attrocious. My husband who is a mechanical engineer and myself spent 2 days assembling the green house. It is DEFINITELY a 2 or 3 person job. By the time we were finished we discovered one of the roof panels were missing as well as one of the pins for the door hinge. This thing must have over 1,000 parts so I cant totally fault the missing pieces. I contacted the seller right away and they were generous in refunding 25% of the cost if I could find replacement pieces myself. A piece of plex glass and long thin nail was definitely less than 25% of the cost so that was helpful. I went on vacation and came back to what must have been a major storm; there were trees down in my neighborhood and branches strewn all over my yard but the green house remained undamaged and all my plants survived. After finishing assembly, I am pleased with the purchase. As mentioned in the reviews, the assembly instructions and process are very difficult to follow. The assembly design required preloading the rails with some of the fasteners. Early on I missed this on a few of the rails. A design feature to allow the fasteners to be inserted was required to prevent disassembling to add the missed steps. It was an easy resolve which the manufacture could easily add to the design and reduce the preload requirement. I just drilled a small entry hole in the rail slots to allow the bolt heads to enter the slot ( the last photo). If this was in the rails from the start you could load the fasteners as you need them. It did take 2 6 hour days by myself to assemble. I don’t believe it will fail in weather. Nice sturdy green house. ... show more

Update: this winter we received roughly +25 inches in a matter of a few weeks. We kept brushing the roof as I was weary of the roof collapsing. It’s held up really well and I’m very pleased. We’re looking into swapping out the roof with better support for future winters and hail storms. I didn’t keep growing inside the greenhouse over the winter months only because I never maintained shoveling the snow by the door. I’ve been on the hunt for a sturdy greenhouse for a decent price. Despite the feedback and reviews about the horrible instructions and assembly, I gave this a shot. This shipped quick and delivered within a week of ordering. Took two whole days to assemble with two people. I recommend taking the time to set the foundation and level the ground-we thought we had a solid foundation until it rained…as you can see in the image. Once fully assembled, the greenhouse is sturdy and maintains temperatures in the mid 80s with high humidity - despite outside temperatures ranging from 40F-65F. I still need to caulk and seal all the seams but it’s functional as is. We ended up resetting the foundation afterwards with a concrete stem wall. Hoping this will hold up to the heavy N. Idaho winters. But I strongly feel I’ll have to make sure to brush the snow off since the panels are relatively thin. Will update the review after first winter. ... show more

    • Awful Instructions and Missing Pieces

After spending two days digging and filling in a foundation, we began to assemble the greenhouse. The pieces are labeled horribly and the instructions make Ikea furniture look easy to assemble. After a full day of working on this thing we realized that most of the pieces for the door and the window were not included in our package. We reached out to the company and they are not manufacturing those pieces. Meaning we cannot get replacements. They offered a refund for JUST THE MISSING PIECES, which was nice but this was a gift from a kind family member. Amazon doesn't cover returns of this so buyer beware. So now the greenhouse is half set up. Can't put in a door or window. It's basically useless unless we find a way to build our own door and window which due to the flimsy material the greenhouse is made of only has a small success rate. Major disappointment. Edit: customer service did end up sending us out another full greenhouse so that we would be able to get the missing parts and screws. Updated review to reflect that service. ... show more

I almost didn't buy this green house because of the reviews I read. But I took a chance anyway. Agreed, the directions were kinda difficult at times to figure out exactly how it assembled. After We got through the first few steps the procedure seemed to get easier. The first day me and my daughter spent 5 hrs and had the base with both end walls done and most of the side walls completed. The problem I encountered was wind! We started at 10 am with no wind and in the heat of the afternoon the wind picked up and I was afraid it was going to fold over. I braced in all directions with 2x4's, stakes and rope and quit for the day. The following day 5 more hours by myself and done. I'm surprised of the end product. Mounted to a platform I'm fairly confident that it will withstand most normal weather. Door and windows kinda weak, and the auto window openers aren't made for this green house.
