    • Good little greenhouse
If you are not used to putting things together the assembly may be difficult. It took me about 4 hours total. I would suggest adding washers along the bolts on the inside and lock washers along the top. The directions say to seal it, I used some silicone caulking and it has stayed tofether . We have high winds on a regular basis and so far it's held up, we do have it near our fence to help with wind. Consider the size when you purchase this, if your going to have sunny day this thing will heat up quick, use the ventilation and add a fan on sunny days. The media could not be loaded. This greenhouse was a journey. I ordered it well ahead of growing season. I intended to put it together on my week of break from work. This was 3 weeks after I received it. When I finally opened the box the 2 longest pieces were bent beyond repair. I contacted the company and they sent those replacement pieces. It was piece 3 and 4 of the 6x6 version. This took approximately 10 days to receive. Now I am no longer on break from work. So I set about counting all the other pieces in the box. A new problem has arrived. Piece 9 is MISSING. Now we are beyond the 30 DAY RETURN WINDOW. So I have to contact the company AOSOM. I contact them and at first they are wanting me to wait another week and a half to receive this missing piece. I tell them that is burning into growing season and it would be pointless to put the greenhouse up at this point. BUT IT IS BEYOND THE RETURN WINDOW NOW. In the end the company was able to get this resolved within 2-3 days. I am VERY GRATEFUL to the customer service from AOSOM. They did work to get the problem resolved for me, even after the return window had closed. Putting together the greenhouse took about 7 hours. IT COULD BE SHORTER IF THE COMPANY WOULD MAKE A VIDEO OF SOMEONE PUTTING TOGETHER THIS GREENHOUSE. THE WRITTEN DIRECTIONS/PICTURES ARE A RIDDLE. It is not like Ikea. Ikea's directions make sense. The pieces on the corners ARE CONFUSING. If you put them on backwards they will partially work. Until they don't. and then you have to take the thing back apart!!!! One of my corners would never go together. The triangle thing (the polycarbonate piece) in the front DOES NOT FIT. THE TRIANGLES ON THE FRONT SIDES (the polycarbonate) ARE TOO BIG. Also you have to modify it because as it is built there is not enough airflow. I only know this because I have had other greenhouses. WINDOWS ARE ESSENTIAL. I put a fan in the top vent window. I added another window. I also used silicone caulking around the whole thing on the outside to keep the panels stable. But overall I am SATISFIED with this greenhouse. Really big disappointment after I saved so long. Not anywhere near worth the money. They don't package it appropriately for the "windows" nor the aluminum....aluminum shows up dented in multiple spots you will definitely need needle nose pliers to try and straighten it out and make it still usable and the windows with the special uv tape stuff on them show up ruined...peeling off to where you have to smooth it out best you can but it looks like crap and some of it has holes or corners missing...even if you have multiple experienced builders working on it a lot of the seems won't line up because both the windows and aluminum are a bit warped like the way wood does when it gets old or is left in water. The directions were terrible...half the time they tell you to put what goes on the left on the right it's opposites constantly so watch for that...and when you get to the part of installing the top window that opens and it has no arrows or instructions...look at the side without the "leg" on it and match it to the top supporting beam..it has to slide in from the side before you attach the black plastic pieces at the end and it doesn't tell you..so in the end you try to pop it in but it wont...also take care with sides..since the cheap uv windows are bowed and the screws are terrible. Oh and the gutter holes don't line up in the end either.... ... show more

    • Difficult to assemble, not sturdy
I took 2 days to assemble this. I'm 70 and my husband is blind, so he was not a great help, except for holding things. I got one of the side cross pieces upside down, but instead of taking the whole thing apart I drilled new holes. Instructions are horrible. Not all of the pieces were labeled. The panel over the door was too short and I had to use packing tape to keep it in place. I had to caulk all the seams inside and out. It took 5 tubes of silicone. I had to install L brackets to the inside base and put heavy concrete blocks on them to secure it. So far it has survived 50 MPH winds and only moved a couple of inches. I have a heater in it set at 50. It's 18 degrees today, but plants are warm enough. It does the job if you do the extra work. ... show more

    • Quality and cute
After reading many reviews stating the difficulty of assembling this greenhouse, I was skeptical about purchasing. I'm glad I did. My husband put this together in several hours over a couple of days. When I asked him how difficult assembly and interpreting the instructions were, he said both were easy. I love my new greenhouse! ... show more

The greenhouse came in two boxes. Instructions were diagrams showing how to put pieces together. There were a few things I had to redo because it was not really clear in the diagram but was easy enough to put together. Did not come with any anchors and blew over pretty easy. The windows (which can be flimsy) all came out. So I put it together again and used some angle brackets and concrete anchors to anchor the greenhouse to the concrete slab. Then I used some more brackets on the outside corners and angle brackets in the inside corners. Now it is structural sound and takes the wind. I also siliconed the windows in and built a screen for the opening. Overall it's not a bad little greenhouse for the money as long as your willing to do a few extra steps to secure it. ... show more
