It is advertised to withstand weather; that’s a lie. I live in NC and am extremely disappointed in this product. It is expensive considering it only last 9-12 months. This arrived on time and packaging was great...no damaged parts and all parts were included. The assembly was a breeze, directions were good and all the parts were clearly labeled. Took me maybe 45 minutes from start to finish, on my own. I have to say it is very sturdy and because the lumber was advertised as fir, it should withstand many Winter's. I'm so happy with how it looks and it fits my small apartment sized deck beautifully. The lower shelf is the perfect size for the storage bin used for my tools, and the individual planting spaces are quite adequate for my needs. Can't wait for the New England Spring to finally get here so I can start planting herbs and flowers! UPDATE : Spring finally arrived and the planter really is the perfect size!

Overall the product is okay, it is definitely not cedar as I had thought, the assembly was straight forward and pretty simple, except on the second one, the notches and spacing was not correct and because of this, some of the wood cracked. Not a big deal, but definitely not worth the asking price.

it was not that this product was hard to put together, it just took some time! While the directions were simple, wasn’t always super clear! Regardless, I got it done. And after it was all said and done, it turns out to be pretty sturdy, which is some thing that I was worried about, I got it in a gray color and it is a great size and looks amazing! The size is perfect. I will have to coat it with water protectant so it last longer! I can’t wait to start using it.

This is a very nice product. It was easy to put together. It only took me about 15 minutes. It gets the job done and we’re very happy with it. This garden box is ideal for herbs but nothing else as it isn’t very deep so I wouldn’t recommend using this for vegetables. Regardless, This is a great product to start you on your gardening journey. Also, I recommend that you get yourself a greenhouse to cover the garden box. Just make sure that your greenhouse is tall. Great for first time gardeners!
