I got an amazing deal on this greenhouse to cover our unused chicken coop and potted plants for the winter, The design is attractive, but if you live someplace with heavy snow, you may need to reinforce the plastic cover. I added some mason line tied to the fram to prevent the plastic cover from sagging without putting a lot of extra weight on the frame. If you don't get snow, then reinforcement isn't necessary. I staked the greenhouse all around the bottom of the frame and used greenhouse clips to secure the cover because we have heavy winds. The provided screw anchors may be sufficient ( without extra stakes and clips) in less windy places. Surprisingly, there is only one door on this greenhouse, but that is understandable for this very low price. I feel I got a great deal on a low priced attractive sturdy greenhouse.

Takes two people to set up. Took a few hours. No big deal. The tie downs break off while attempting to tie them down. Purchased heavy duty anchors to ensure it was anchored. The first one we purchased literally flew across the yard with a small breeze and a very small amount of snow collapsed it. The company replaced it with hesitation. We set up again, ensured it was anchored down in all four corners and placed bags of soil around the edges inside to keep it from flying away again. No snow yet. But, it is SO unsteady that every joint is breaking or broken. We attempted to save it by using some heavy duty tape. Has kept it somewhat standing. I imagine it will collapse in the next week or with the next breeze. The joints broke within a week of setup. Absolutely do NOT purchase this greenhouse!! Sooooo cheaply made. Tears throughout the cover from the screws and we used the provided soft tape. Attempted to keep them from getting worse by again using the heavy duty tape. You will be very heart broken and replace plants if you purchase this greenhouse. My hope is to save at least one person from the heartache, headache and plants destroyed.

It is cheap, but we knew that going in. My husband is a carpenter/builder and had it assembled very quickly. The strings and tiny tent stakes that come with it are useless, ours tried to blow away in the first little wind, and ripped the loops right off the corners. I recommend you buy some big stakes and heavy duty tie downs at the same time you order this, and find a way to attach them to the frame. We are going to poke holes through our plastic to tie down at the corners and then use zip tape to make it waterproof. Overall we are glad we bought this, 2 months ago. I will try to update in the spring to tell how it fared the winter. For the price, I still give it 5 stars even with the puny tie downs. I recommend you buy one!

It turned out nice but it was horrible to put together. It’s extremely wimpy. The pipes are very small and I expected them to be more sturdy and a little bigger. It was very difficult to assemble because the instructions were just drawings and they were very tiny on the page. I had to take pictures of the drawings with my cell phone and blow them up to see how to put it together. As you can see in my photos I tried to write down what I thought the instructions were. It was extremely difficult. My husband and I put it together ourselves and we seriously could’ve used at least one or two more people. You put the top together first and then you add the bottom. In order to do this we had to use the palm tree outback and also a boat pole to hold it up. It was stressful. The entire time we were putting the bottom poles onto it, this contraption tried to fall over like a loaf of sliced bread out of the wrapper. It took us three hours to put the top together one afternoon and then we had to wait another five days to put the rest of it together because my husband had to go to work out of town. So it sat in my backyard leaning against the house with bags of dirt holding it up for five days until we could finish it. Finishing it took another three hours. Then we moved it onto the plastic in the location we wanted our garden to be. As you can see, I did not put the plastic on it because it’s too hot here in Florida right now in April/May. We may put it on in the winter time because that’s the best time to plant in Florida but I may need it in case we have an unusual frost. But for spring and summer, I bought 3’ plastic chicken fence at Home Depot and wrapped it around the sides and the back. Because the backside has no poles, it’s wide open, I added some that I had in the shed so that I could hold up the chicken fencing around the backside. I also bought wrought iron fencing that I’m using for gates for the front entry. I attached everything with zip ties and the fencing opens and closes very nicely as a gate. Because it’s so wimpy and very lightweight, we put stakes in the ground on each corner and zip tied tightly to the stakes because we are in a hurricane zone and we have heavy winds and rain all summer long. I ordered shade cloth for the top because in the summertime the sun is very intense and that way I’ll still be able to have some things growing in the garden that hopefully won’t get fried from the scorching sun. I really like how it looks now that is finished and sturdily staked into the ground. But I would never order it again! When it showed up I was highly disappointed because I had ordered a different size from the same company and it is beautiful and sturdy and was easy to put together. Of course it cost a little more, lesson learned, you get what you pay for. My husband wanted to return this one immediately. But I was determined to make it work, and besides, I had spent a lot of time shopping online for that darn thing and I didn’t want to go through the shopping process again. I do NOT recommend this. Unless you like a real challenge. It’s so wimpy that I’m not sure what would happen if we put that piece of plastic over it, it would probably sail off into the sky if it wasn’t staked to the ground securely.

Update pt 2.: just after the first update, we had the same type of mild wind storm and the greenhouse flew… it was very secured, bolted to the fence, and tied down to the fencing around it with heavy duty stakes and everything. Unfortunately this greenhouse is not made strong enough to withstand any of the elements. Loved it while I had it! If you are able to completely bolt this down and add wood pole reinforcements this may work, but just know the metal is thin. Update: after multiple 40mph wind says, this greenhouse has almost flown away multiple times after being staked down. definitely needs a ton of reinforcement and the tarp acts like a kite to take the greenhouse away. Poor quality poles. For only $200, worth it but requires over 200 to stabilize for wind protection. I originally bought this to put up in another space, but after putting up garden boxes we decided to assemble the greenhouse over one of the boxes. The frame took me about 2hrs to assemble. Use a drill to tighten the screws after you put it together, it makes it much simpler than the cheap tools provided and makes it sturdy. We eliminated 1 of the middle braces to shrink the side and it works great, I just folded the excess tarp. You MUST secure this greenhouse. It comes with dinky stakes and the greenhouse moved a foot with 15mph winds but do not let this fool you. Secure it with heavy duty rebar stakes or wood, and this will be very durable. That being said, reinforce, reinforce, reinforce! Worth the money to be able to garden year round. It does it’s job, is nice and large, and for around $200, you can’t beat it.

My wife and I have at this greenhouse up for about a month in North Louisiana. It was Easy to assemble and works great. I will advise you to be ready afix it to the ground. We used buckets of concrete on the inside attached with cables. The structure is very light weight and first wind had the greenhouse almost flying away. The lines and stakes provided are no where near strong enough and tie down loops did not look very strong. Overall, my wife and I are very pleased with this purchase and I believe that it will last for a few years.

If you had asked me two months ago what I thought of this greenhouse, I would have told you it was the best ever and buy 10... Today, I'm writing a review to say that it wound up being disappointingly weak in key spots which is causing the roof to collapse. This seemed to happen all at once after one regular old thunderstorm came through late at night (first real storm I can think of since I purchased this greenhouse, we had a pretty mild summer). It was windy, but nothing crazy for a normal thunderstorm. I went out in the evening to move my lawnmower into the shed ahead of the rainfall and all was well. I came out in the morning and the greenhouse was leaning hard to one side (worse than pictured, pics are after I tried to bend it back upright!) . Went inside the greenhouse and found the metal poles had bent and CRACKED at the joints that transition from what would be considered the "side" frame and the "roof" peak. All 4 joints of the two center arches are broken beyond structural integrity and the 4 corners are also bent badly but not cracked (believe the tension of the cover helped hold them in place). My greenhouse is tethered down and I have two other greenhouses in the same area that were *entirely unaffected* by this thunderstorm despite being several years old. I'm so sad. It was very time consuming to build and I needed the additional gardening space, especially going into fall/winter as the greenhouses help to extend my growing seasons. Of my other two- one is a smaller pop-up style and one has a rounded roof. The pop-up has framing around the roof edges and is very strong. The rounded is (or so I thought) rather flimsy, so I'm thinking the real issue may be the peaked roof and the hard angles mixed with wind pressure/resistance..? Either way, this particular greenhouse was a fail. The screws were tight, the cover was on properly, tethered to the ground, all that. This is a durability failure 100%.
