When I got this the other day, for some reason I was expecting to have to screw a few things together and have a fight with setting it up. That's not the case here. The box had both (YES 2) folded chairs and they are fully assembled. Take them out of the plastic wrap and unfold. Though instructions are included, they're not needed. It's literally unfold 1 leg, then the next, then the next, set the proper head height, and BAM DONE! The material is nice, holds both me and my wife (both 200+ lbs), comfortable, and love the reading portion too. Down by the feet, there is a velcro'd area when you lift up has the head hole along with 2 arm holes if you want to lay on your stomach and still play on your phone or read. Seriously, great product, and we're very happy with this find. The only thing I question is the price as you might be able to find something similar on sale for less than 100. Still $140 for a 2 combo set is still good, just could be better. ... show more

I would have given these chairs five stars except for one issue, which I will address after I praise these chairs. They are amazing, and comfortable. The bungee cord method of attaching the fabric to the frame makes the chairs have give, so they actually conform to the shape of your body. The listing shows a picture that there is soft padding between two layers of mesh. I didn't really see that, it appeared these were just mesh fabric. The frame of the chair has a long base for leg length which is GREAT! I am tall and long legged so I often have my ankles hanging off the edge of the frame and that is not comfortable. The pillow head rest is very comfy and adjustable. You just slide it up or down on the back of the chair. It is cushioned so maybe that is what the vendor was implying when saying there was padding between mesh layers??? I forgot these chairs had a face opening for when you lay on your stomach and want to read. This is a great feature, one I've never seen before. When you don't want to use it, you just fold the foam pads through the opening and they hang on the bottom side of the chair, out of the way. This will also be nice if one wants to sleep face down. There is a pouch woven into the bungee cords for placement that has pockets in it to hold your phone, keys, reading material, etc. The reason I reduced one star is because immediately upon taking the chairs out of the box, a broken piece fell out. I soon realized it was the cap from the end of the frame at a joint. Then another one fell off the other chair. For some reason, the caps (which are plastic) were designed to be a screw type, however, the metal frame it goes into is not threaded so there really isn't anything to hold these caps in place. I ended up taking both out from each chair and applying a glob of glue on the caps and stuck them back into the metal pipe. It will do the trick and hold them (and even if they don't, the caps don't serve a function other than being decorative). The media could not be loaded. I guess in concept the chair is pretty neat and unique. It’s got a cut out spot so that you could lay on your stomach. It has a bungee suspension system. It’s on an easy fold up frame. The problem is it’s execution of use. it has way too much and when you sit on it, it flips the back of the seat up and even even fully extended on it it is hard to push the seat back down, or adjust it to a more down position. When you sit into it, it is deep, sinks down really low, might as well be sitting on the ground. It’s difficult to get in and out of and kind of clumsy. I might let my kids use it. But it’s definitely not gonna work for me. It’s a shame too, they may not be the most perfectly constructed, but they are still attractive and the price was somewhat affordable. I wish I could recommend them but I think they need a little bit more work. ... show more

These are great chaise lounge units I got to replace some 40+ year old non-folding ones that finally lost all their webbing. These are comfortable .. no assembly required just unfold the sections which all snap into place and you're ready to bask in the sun. Unique feature .. padded breathing hole for face down sunning. These fold up nicely for storage or carrying to the beach, but they are solid steel construction (no bendable aluminum frames here), so they are maybe 15 pounds each. They have fabric carry handles, but inexplicably the handles on each side are laterally offset from each other so it doesn't balance right when being carried folded up. That's the only issue I found. I got the beige colored ones and they match my patio umbrella. Also they are rated for 265 pound load. I am close to that and didn't feel any sagging or frame instability at all. I think the 265 is conservative and they should be good for 300 or more. Expensive but with the current 15% coupon offering I think they're worth it. ... show more

I really like these chairs. They are nice to relax on outside. They are pretty comfortable, and you can adjust the back. I do have a problem with him though. The first time I sat down on the back backrest popped up and smacked me! So, you have to make sure that the back is popped into place on the little bracket. Other than that I haven’t really had any problems. I do like that the foot rest has a cut out for your face if you would like to lay face down. I didn’t try that out, so I’m not sure how comfortable that would be. They also fold up fairly easy ... show more
