Beautiful hammock. We absolutely love it. We had a bad crack in the base of it. We sent photos and they replaced it within a day. The customer service is impeccable. One of the best purchases I’ve bought on Amazon.

The frame was a bit tough to put together (said to use 2 people but I had no help and still managed). I had it up for 2 months, with it getting intermittent use. I work all day so I only used it a few times a week. Tonight I went to lay in it and the canvas swing ripped right in two, dumping me straight down on to the wooden stand. I stared in disbelief at the rip, which is shaped like a greek key - oddest thing I've ever seen. (and I am well within the weight limits! lol) Either there was a defect in the canvas or its not correctly rated and cant hold much weight at all. I am hoping to get another one sent to me - can't believe I spent over $200 on a hammock that ripped in two within 2 months! The frame is very sturdy but the hammock itself is cheap.

Initially, I loved this hammock! I thought it was elegant and it looked well built. I was able to use it twice. The curved wood almost immediately started to split. The material for the hammock may very well be THE MOST mold and mildew absorbing material in existence. The cover seems to have zero ability to deal with the sun or wind. It lasted maybe two weeks before it started to rip. I tried to contact support, nothing satisfactory came of it. Don't waste your money.

I ordered this wooden hammock stand based on the mostly positive reviews. From what I saw of the negative reviews it was mainly dealing with the hammock that came with it but I already planned on using my own that I bought separately. My husband assembled the pieces and had a time of it. It was missing four of the screws that he needed but did supply some screws that had no purpose whatsoever. Huh. A trip to the Home Depot fixed that. The instructions, tiny confusing drawings that made you stand and puzzle over them for a long time, were a joke. My husband foresaw that the canopy was a bad design and he was correct. One too many rains where water collected on top of the canopy and it started to bend down, the screw splitting the wood where it was screwed in (see pics). One screw holding the weight of a canopy and a heavy piece of wood is a design flaw to the max. We ended up taking down the canopy and using the splitting, but still usable hole where the wooden “arm” was, as the new hole for the hook and eye that holds the hammock. So I can still make use of the stand, but the canopy feature is defunct. I should have saved money and bought a basic wooden stand sans canopy.

This was not difficult to assemble, but it took about 2 hours. I am 5’4 and small, and was able to do it without assistance. I love it!! One of the screws was too short but a trip to Home Depot solved it.

Very beautiful hammock. The wood frame is great quality. I bought it for myself but my husband managed to claim it as his own. I catch him napping and reading on it throughout the day.
