This was easy to inflate and my air mattress pump has 2 ports that fit this mattress. When you are done inflating, you need to immediately put the stopper on the valve as it starts to deflate quickly. I followed the directions about inflating it about 80% at first and then waiting to inflate it all the way. Once I did inflate it all the way it stayed inflated for about 10 hours and then it was getting very soft. I had to pump it up again to 100%. It didn't hold the air pressure for more than about 6 hours at that point. So, for short times this would be good. It was comfortable when inflated at 100%. ... show more

My son is moving to another state (big sad sigh) and he is not taking any furniture. I thought he might like sleeping on a little air mattress instead of a bare floor (yes I'm a mom!). This was easy to inflate and easy to take down. He has not tried sleeping on it yet. We did leave it blown up for some time and it didn't go down. If this holds up to previous experience with air mattresses, it will slowly lose air while you are sleeping on it and will need to be inflated again. However, just blowing it up and leaving it out for a few hours it did not need to be reinflated. One thing I like about the fuzzy flocking is that if it is floor side own it keep the mattress from sliding across the floor. If you put sheets over that side the sheets will not slide off. And if for some reason you just want to sleep and not mess with it, the flocking is soft enough you can do that. This is thin. You will not have a lot of support. For my son who will use it only a few night it should be fine. If I were camping this would be great in our camper on our bed because it would just add a little bit more padding. However, this is small so it's easy to fold down and pack up and easy to inflate. Because it is thin you will have to be prepared to pop the plug in quickly because it will deflate fairly quickly. I got this to have for sleepovers for the kids. Okay for a child to sleep on, but, with my sensitive back, I don't feel it would be a great all night sleep for myself; I would need more support. We got this air mattress for out-out-town guests, as we have limited bed space. It is currently being put to the test by a 6' teenager, who's been using it for the past four nights. It was easy to inflate, and he says it's very comfortable. With the top flocking there wasn't a need for a pad under the sheets. And so far it has not needed any additional air! There are a couple of nights to go, so we'll see. As to durability, it remains to be seen. I get that a new mattress needs to 'stretch', but for 2 days, and several attempts to KEEP it inflated has Not worked!!! I've contacted customer service for a return and/or refund!!! No replies yet....Terrible!!!
