If it helps others, my fitted hat size is 7 and 5/8 which is roughly 61cm. I also measured my head before buying this and it was roughly 24 inches. This XL helmet fits me nicely. The seller indicated in one of the questions that the XL fits up to 63cm. I think it might be right for 63cm but anything just less will be perfect. I was riding my bike last Monday car hit me probably going about 10 mph. I hit headfirst into the cement. It slid me across the road. No cracks in the helmets. Just some scratches. Purchased this for my 6 year old daughter. Her head measures over 21”. I thought she was too young for a medium but the size chart said that’s what she should be, so I ordered it. The medium - with the adjustment turned as tight as it would go - was still not close to fitting correctly. She ended up being in the middle of the adjustment on the small helmet, perfect fit.
