  • Sturdy
Size: Plus Size Color: Blue
These look great and are sturdy, solid, and comfortable enough- even without a cushion. Assembly was fairly straightforward. I like the fact that they can fold up for storage come fall. I bought a pair and they brighten the back yard nicely.

  • Best value for Adirondack chair on Amazon
Size: Standard Size x1 Color: Espresso
We bought two of there chairs, assembled them and tried them, and four weeks later bought two more. The espresso color is very warm and looks lovely around the fire pit. The assembly was easy, following directions, only once did my husband need me to help hold something while he was putting it together. Overall a one man job. They are sturdy and the arm rests are comfortable, and separately bought cup holders (to hold mugs and phones) fit the arm rests quite well. We got the standard size and now thinking of getting a couple of the XL size for guests that need that. If you have any doubts where you would fit, I recommend the XL size. The standard size I think are S-M fit. They fold easily for storage and are not overly heavy to carry to the shed. Very pleased with the purchase and the price and strongly recommend to others. ... show more

  • Small and delicate, but good value
From the perspective of a woodworker: I recently built an adirondack chair for myself. With the price of lumber these days, it cost nearly $300 for a single chair. Due to the cost, I decided to buy a second one knowing that it would not be as good, but it should do for a few years. I would describe this adirondack chair as small and delicate. The legs measure 2 1/4 wide by 3/4 inches thick...to give you an idea. And it is 2 inches narrower than many other addirondack chairs. It is suitable for someone smaller. But, being 6 ft. tall and 180 lbs, I would be careful to sit on it myself regularly. The chair description was 'Eucalyptus Wood Patio Lounge Chair', but the detail stated that it was Canadian cedar. It arrived well packed, and it was pretty easy to assemble. But there was 1 misplaced pre-drilled screw hole which I had to correct in order to make the seat frame square. Additionally, another reviewer mentioned that the bottom of the front legs are not cut at the correct angle (and do not sit flat against the ground), and this will cause the front legs to crack if not corrected (after assembly) or shimmed. I found this to be true. Know that the chair is made of cedar which, while being an excellent wood, can split if not properly cared for. And, while the description states that every piece was well selected, about 10% of the pieces have a blue stain caused by fungus. This is mostly aesthetically not pleasing, but I would not call this premium wood. Additionally, a couple of pieces had knots which should have been rejected. Other than this, the remaining pieces were sound and of good quality. Also, note that some of the pieces were roughly machined, and there was tearout on a few pieces, as well as machine marks that had to be sanded out. Personally, I think the chair would be better without the 'brushed finishing' (which are just tiny grooves, and easily splinter) and the cove detail on the arm rest which minimizes the area for resting a glass. While both were done to add attractive features, the chair would be better without these. If you want to make this a better chair, purchase 150 grit sand paper and spend a couple of hours sanding all pieces to smooth out the rough edges so you don't get a splinter in your patootie! Also, apply a coat of either tung oil or linseed oil BEFORE you assemble the chair, and you will be very pleased with the results. Note that this same chair is sold by different companies.. The only difference I found is that one is made from hemlock (not as good as cedar), while the others say that they are made of cedar. Also, there are different colors...and wildly different prices. I give this chair 3 stars for quality, but I give it 4 stars for value. While it's great to have an adirondack chair made of cedar, note that they do take some care (applying oil) for them to last. If you are attracted to the lower price (under $100) of this chair, and you understand that it's more delicate, then it's a great deal. But if you want an adirondack chair that is more durable and requires less care, you might be better off with paying a little more for a chair made from re-cycled plastic/resin composition. ... show more

  • Looks nice
Size: Standard Size x2 Color: Espresso
Pretty easy install despite parts not marked at all. Wood is ok. Should last me 3-4 years in Nevada weather. Looks nice. Comfy.

  • I LOVE these chairs!
I'm fairly handy with tools, so these were not difficult to assemble (although I did put two of the bolts in backwards for the first chair and didn't realize it until I assembled the second chair - they stuck out into the seating area for the first, but they were easy to take out and put back in the right way). I love that they're a bit roomier than other similar chairs - I can fold my legs underneath me when sitting in them. Six months in, they're a bit wobbly, but I think if I tighten the hardware, they'll be fine. They look beautiful, and everyone that has seen/sat in them has remarked how nice they are. And so much less expensive than others! I also brought them in the garage for the winter - we get some decent snow and I want them to last a long time. ... show more

  • Great!! But….
Size: Standard Size x1 Color: Brown
I was so excited for these because of the affordable price. We loved them once they were set up and in our new fire pit area. They held up great at first but it’s been about 3 weeks and after a few rain storms I’m starting to notice 3 out of the 4 chairs we bought the wood is splitting on the arm rests. I just REALLY hope they don’t turn into a disaster and we have to worry about cutting our arms or hands open when relaxing in them. I still love them, I am just so disheartened that this is happening because they were such a great price :( EDITED TO ADD***: after I had written my review the seller reached out to me and by the next day we had worked out a solution. I am getting new arm rests sent to me to replace the ones that have split. I thought this was more than fair since that seems to be the problem area and otherwise we LOVE these chairs. I am just hoping it doesn’t happen again! Very happy with seller and chairs still. ... show more

  • Very comfortable!
Size: Standard Size x2 Color: Brown
The instructions are clear, but the first chair I put together, took me twice as long as the second: my fault. I put some pieces on backwards and had to redo it. Then putting together the second chair was a breeze, because I knew what I was doing by that time. These chairs are very comfortable for us, because my husband and I are of shorter stature (5'5" and 5'2" respectfully), and fit us perfectly! For a taller and/or larger person, these chairs may be too small (220 lbs or more). But for the two of us, we couldn't ask for a better fit! Would recommend! ... show more
