I'll start off by saying; I was very hesitant to buy this due to the higher price compared to other outdoor storage boxes. I was asking myself, am I crazy spending this much money on a storage box when I can get one that's the same size and appearance for $100 less and would serve the same purpose? In the end, I decided to fork out the money for this box and I'll tell you what, you get what you pay for, and this thing is quality. Right out of the box, I could tell that the pieces that make up the unit were well made. This storage container or deck box is a nice-looking bench with ample inner space with its 150-gal capacity. This bench easily fits 3 adults sitting on top, and it feels sturdy enough to do so. All the pieces of the storage container are made of metal aluminum, which are hard, durable, wear-resistant, waterproof and sun protection. The assembly is a literal "snap" of the pieces connecting to each other, and once together. This was very easy to put together. I was surprised how sturdy it is too! It has a LOT of room inside. My only suggestion would be to Use a power screwdriver. I added some screws for stability, but no need if I don’t want to. This took me less than 25 minutes to put together, and half of that time was just going through the picture instructions. The gentle close or locking hinge lid is great for holding lid open until I am ready for it to close. Lid won’t fall on top of me. I have had a plastic 150-gal Patio Bench from Home Depot for over 1 year now. It is already broken on some parts. Additionally, this new one is much better machined than my original, which gave me a lot of problems snapping together. By contrast, this new one connecting part fit well together, and the screw holes lined up where they needed to be. This bench is great for patio furniture cushions, but not necessarily for anything with significant weight. It is very high quality, and well worth the extra money compared to other cheaper storage boxes.

I wanted something big enough to hold pillows and blankets for my porch. Also something that was just the right size between 2 chairs so it could hold our drinks or books. This checks off all the boxes. It looks nice and it is sturdy. The color I chose matches my chairs beautifully. I am really happy with this purchase.

I was so pleased with this storage box, after receiving it, I immediately jumped back on Amazon to buy one because I need two of these in my life! Putting it together is the easiest thing ever and the size of it is perfect for storing my plant pots and gardening utensils/tools. I'm debating if I want to put cushions on top of each one for extra seating on my patio or, just put square wicker table mats on'em and use them as end tables. Either way, THESE ARE GREAT and can be used for many things, all the while being a perfect option for needed storage space. I've had mine outside since I've gotten them and it's been pouring down raining everyday.. they're definitely waterproof btw!

Overall it's ok. Was a real pain to put together. Pieces keep popping loose from their appointed slots. Poor design from this standpoint. Larger or somehow the fastening parts need to be more reliable. When it's together it does seem to maintain weather seal. No rain seems to have gotten in. But again the darn fastening mechanisms have popped loose again.
