Bought this ribbon for 2 reasons: outdoor use and 2 sided color. The color on both sides is almost the same, but the finish is not. Shiny on one side duller on other. Cannot judge weather resistance yet. The ribbon is unforgiving. If you don't handle it carefully, it looks like a wrinkled mess.

The ribbon is a pretty color of red. The description said it was outdoor, but it is very thin and not water proof. I should have read further down on the description as it says"satin" it is shiny but not satin. It reminds me of cheap christmas ribbon that splits easily. I went ahead and used it for my outdoor project. Fingers crossed that it lasts through any rain or moisture. I'll update if it's a fail. ... show more

This product is NOT meant for outdoor use and is NOT waterproof. I used it to wrap my porch columns to look like candy canes for Christmas. It looked beautiful and was easy to use. But when I took it down, each column was stained bright red and I now have to repaint my entire porch.
