Update to original post below. I contacted Outdoor Products in regards to the damage described below. The service and care that Outdoor Products Gave me is second to none. They were extremely helpful and understanding and most importantly stood behind their products lifetime warranty 100%. I have a Outdoor Product bag (2 actually) from a Boy Scout trip in 1997. I have used them off and on for 22 years. My family was moving from the US to another country so I added this new version to the arsenal to move my boys car seats and other gear on the plane. This bag was full to 42 lbs and not stuffed. The bag didn’t even make it to the airport before it had its first tear in it. A small tear appeared when it was loaded and unloaded from the shuttle. 2 more tears appeared after the 1st flight. My 1997 version was packed the exact same way and has no rips or tears on it. It does have some abrasions but is still in good condition. I am not happy with the outcome of this product. I am hopeful with the lifetime warranty that I can get a full refund. ... show more

Just got the "30 inch" bag. I'm using it to carry my cable attachments to the gym. When I ordered the bag I also ordered a 30" bent lat pull down bar at the same, and they arrived at the same time. While the bar is 30", the bag definitely is not. Maybe the bag is 24", but not 30. False advertising? Bad description? Wrong size bag sent? I don't know. Other than that? I got two of these colossal size duffel bags to store 2 camping pads as part of my hurricane kit here in Florida. The bags were so huge that I was able to fit in both pads into one bag, along with 2 sets of sheets. I returned the other bag. I was looking for a large Gear bag that will hold all items for a camping trip for a couple people. This does it. I can fit a tent, sleeping bag, clothes, day pack, cooking gear, camp chair, sleeping mat, everything. The shoulder strap works great and handles are nicely placed. It comes in a bag that you can then use as a small gear bag or anything. I use it to pack clothes, If you want a big bag this is it. As presented! This is a very big, mid-quality duffle which got the job done. My eleven year old was off to Boy Scout summer camp and we needed something that would fit all of his gear and that he could carry. This product was recommended to us, so we purchased it. The collosal size fit everything it had to including sleeping bag, sleeping mat, 2 towels, light change of clothes for a week, three pairs of shoes, camp fan, water bottles and other light camping gear. The quality of the bag was fine, however, the canvas did appear a bit light when compared to more-expensive models and we would expect to see that. The carrying strap was also very cumbersome and my 100 lb eleven year old and he had a very difficult time with it. It looks like the more-expensive model with back-pack like straps were easier to carry for the boys. There is definitely a cost/convenience/durability tradeoff and you would need to weigh that into your decision. ... show more

I purchased a version of this bag in the mid 2000s and it STILL EXCELLENT 💯, I purchased Another recently and it's less than 2 years old with regular use and it's Falling Apart Quality is IMO now in 2023 POOR,Especially when compared to my earlier version of the same Outdoor products Duffle bag.
