Description

Outdoor Interiors' mission is guided by providing innovative, space-saving designs using beautiful, sustainable hardwoods along with an exciting array of mixed materials. Utilizing high quality hardwoods, our unique styles and durability will make your patio the envy of the neighborhood. Eucalyptus is one of the fastest growing dense Hardwoods prized for its strength, durability and weathering characteristics in all climates. Eucalyptus is naturally resistant to decay with handsome pinkish-brown tones and a straight, light wood grain similar to Teak. Eucalyptus will weather to a silvery finish over time unless treated 2-3 times a year with outdoor furniture oil. We recommend using a natural Linseed Oil or any Outdoor Hardwood or Teak oil for our Eucalyptus Furniture. The hardwood we use are plantation grown and very dense, with a luxurious straight grain and high oil content, similar to teak. It’s excellent for outdoor furniture because of its strength, rich appearance and durability. We also recommend using furniture covers during the winter months in harsher climate zones. Outdoor Interiors is a FSC Certified manufacturer providing only plantation grown eucalyptus from well managed forests. All hardwood follows the C.O.C. Chain of Custody for managing timber from our forests through production to our factory. Made from dense and durable Eucalyptus Hardwood, our stylish - ultra comfortable adirondack chair with assembled, built-in Ottoman slides in and out for storage and for use when needed. Eucalyptus looks and performs like teak. This beautiful chair is comfortable and durable. Easily maintained with a once annual oil treatment.

  • great quality!
Pattern Name: Geometric
i looked for many months for chairs that wouldn’t blow away in the wind and would last many seasons at the beach but weren’t $800 each. These are absolutely great and look even better once teak oiled. easy to put together too.

  • Great chairs but missing screws
Pattern Name: Geometric
We purchased 6 of these chairs. Seem to be well made. Wouldn’t you know putting together the last one, we were short 4 screws. Kinda disappointed. Called customer service - hope they will send us the missing screws.

  • Excellent quality
Pattern Name: Geometric
I shopped resin Adirondack chairs, found some wood was surprisingly less expensive. Ordered these based upon reviews & a few hours later thought to myself do I really want to spend the $ for these? Attempted to cancel, order had been pulled for shipment. They arrived 2 days earlier than expected. I am so happy the order didn’t cancel! The quality & craftsmanship is excellent. Assembly 20 minutes. I did coat with Teak oil, absolutely beautiful. They are extremely comfortable & love the pull out ottoman. They were a bit over my budget but have absolutely no regrets, most definitely worth the $ & ordered 2 more. 👍🏼😎 ... show more

  • Nice Chair with a few Issues
Pattern Name: Geometric
The overall construction (from Viet Nam) was very good. The wood was sanded better than most outdoor wood furniture that I have purchased over the years and the factory finish was O.K. They highly recommend putting a finish coat of oil on your new furniture. They recommended Boiled Linseed Oil (BLO) but I used Teak Oil. The Teak Oil is a bit more expensive than the BLO. Home Depot had the teak oil for $10 versus $7 for a quart of BLO. I used less than one quart for two coats on the chair and two coats on the small end table from the same vendor. I can probably get one more maintenance coat on the chair and table later in the year from the same can. The pull out foot stool is handy but a bit of a bother. I managed to jam it to where I needed a hammer and block of wood to pound it free. In normal use, and by being very careful, I imagine it won't be as much of a problem. It can be somewhat difficult to pull out on occasion and will need some care. The "cup holder" is a bit of a joke. The hole will accommodate a bottle of beer. The bottom of the bottle is kept from falling through by a plastic ring from which a very thin black nylon(?) string net is attached. I might risk a domestic beer in this but certainly not a nice import. The hole is not large enough for a wine glass stem and my wife doesn't drink beer. I'll probably cover the hole or come up with my own invention. For now she has the small table for her wine. The hardware for assembly is stainless steel (very nice) and seems like it will be up to the task. Having just demolished two former Adirondack wooden chairs probably 8 to 10 years old I could see where this design will be superior. My older chairs had steel screws, probably galvanized, which had rusted. Where the screws rusted the wood was prone to rot. When you assemble the chair take care to line up the screw with the pre-drilled holes as the new screws will make their own holes wherever you put them. If you do this (experience speaking here) the rest of the chair won't line up. Luckily I was able to pull the screws out and reposition the wood leg to properly line up the correct holes. The eucalyptus wood used is less expensive than teak, and, with proper maintenance, should last like teak. Ecologically the renewable eucalyptus is better for the environment. After just having oiled the chair and table I have to say they look very nice. The table, if you purchase one, is nice to look at. It is a quick assembly (4 nuts and washers) and is very light weight. My only complaint with the table is that they used staples to position the center slats. The staples are not visible but will probably quickly rust. On the up side I don't think the staples add much to the sturdiness of the table as the center slats are nested in a groove. The staples seem to have been used in assembly and will likely not matter if they fail. Overall I am happy with the purchase. The newly oiled furniture looks great and I also used Amazon to buy a $14 chair cover. The South Florida sun is brutal and rough on wood. ... show more

  • Great chairs!
Pattern Name: Geometric
Can’t tell the difference between these and teak. Well made, quick assembly and really comfortable with the pullout ottoman. Fits my 6’4” frame. Minor damage on one piece was promptly and cheerfully replaced. Originally bought two. Just ordered two more. Be sure to oil - these are worth maintaining properly and look like they should last longer than the chairs they replaced ... show more

  • Not quite perfect but....
Pattern Name: Geometric
Easy to assemble BUT the pilot holes are too big for the screws so it is easy to strip out the wood hole. Otherwise, very comfortable chairs and great value it seems, so far. I will add stainless screws to reinforce all joining parts.

  • Great for Patio
Pattern Name: Geometric
These were relatively easy to assemble, especially after assembling the first one. I did apply a coat of teak oil, which added a beauty and depth to the finish. The pull out ottoman works well and they are surprisingly comfortable. They will be deep for shorter people so pillows are a nice addition, and the covers we purchased separately protect against the elements. ... show more

  • Exactly what we were looking for!
Pattern Name: Geometric
So we initially thought we'd replace our old ugly white plastic lounge chairs with high end "polywood" loungers, but after initial sticker shock we decided why not go with real wood? Thus began the next search which turned up a ton of options but most were made from pine and cypress--woods that we knew would not be able to take our intense sun/tropical environment on the water in FL. Finally we came across these very reasonably priced chairs made out of eucalyptus wood which we researched and learned will preform on par with expensive teak. Our chairs arrived today and we were able to put them together easily with the directions provided. These chairs are very sturdy--heavy duty and well made design! The foot rest comes pre-assembled with the seat portion of the chair--and moves easily in and out as desired. The icing on the cake (for my husband) is the fact that the install screws/hardware included for assembly are stainless steel--a big plus for our environment. The smoothly finished wood even looks like teak--we are thrilled with our beautiful new chairs and know they will service us for many years on our patio. ... show more
