Description

Outdoor Interiors' mission is guided by providing innovative, space-saving designs using beautiful, sustainable hardwoods along with an exciting array of mixed materials. Utilizing high quality hardwoods, our unique styles and durability will make your patio the envy of the neighborhood. Eucalyptus is one of the fastest growing dense Hardwoods prized for its strength, durability and weathering characteristics in all climates. Eucalyptus is naturally resistant to decay with handsome pinkish-brown tones and a straight, light wood grain similar to Teak. Eucalyptus will weather to a silvery finish over time unless treated 2-3 times a year with outdoor furniture oil. We recommend using a natural Linseed Oil or any Outdoor Hardwood or Teak oil for our Eucalyptus Furniture. The hardwood we use are plantation grown and very dense, with a luxurious straight grain and high oil content, similar to teak. It’s excellent for outdoor furniture because of its strength, rich appearance and durability. We also recommend using furniture covers during the winter months in harsher climate zones. Outdoor Interiors is a FSC Certified manufacturer providing only plantation grown eucalyptus from well managed forests. All hardwood follows the C.O.C. Chain of Custody for managing timber from our forests through production to our factory. Made from dense and durable Eucalyptus Hardwood, our stylish - ultra comfortable adirondack chair with assembled, built-in Ottoman slides in and out for storage and for use when needed. Eucalyptus looks and performs like teak. This beautiful chair is comfortable and durable. Easily maintained with a once annual oil treatment.

  • Really nice chairs!!!!
Pattern Name: Geometric
Ordered two of these and they actually came a day earlier. So happy with this purchase. Sad that I dont need more of this style chair or I would buy more of them. Outdoor Interiors brand was being sold at our specialty ACE Hardware and they were much more expensive than purchasing from Amazon. These are heavy and very sturdy. They are going to be used on our covered front porch. Came packaged neatly in a box. They came in while my husband was at work and were very easy to put together, I would say 20 minutes max on each chair. The pullout ottoman is a great feature and will either recline or you can stand it up on its legs. The wood is darker than standard teak and we really love that. In the photos the table that you see is actually teak, so you can see the difference in the colors. Bought a can of teak oil and will be giving them a good coat. ... show more

  • High Quality Wood and Craftsmanship
Pattern Name: Geometric
These chairs feel good to touch! The wood is tight grained and well worked so that all edges and surfaces are smooth. They were easy to assemble, they took me about 15 minutes a piece by myself. The wood seemed already finished, but the directions said to oil them before putting out in the sun and weather. I don’t know if I read the instructions wrong, or mixed up the instructions for the chairs with those for the linseed oil, or mixed the two, but I ended up with a sticky mess and had to strip them down and start all over. So… don’t do that! I’m pretty sure if you just follow the instructions for the chairs (which were well written and easy to follow), or you’re more experienced than I was with wood finishing products, you’ll end up with chairs that could become family heirlooms. ... show more

  • Excellent Chair
Pattern Name: Geometric
Gave it to my better half for Christmas last year. She uses it almost daily to sit outside watching our birds and squirrels. The chair is well built and easy to assemble. All the pieces are pre-drilled and the nuts and bolts go in easily without having to use a hammer to assist. Since it’s outside, I did put a coat of tung oil on it to help repel water. ... show more

  • We love! Update - We STILL love and it's been almost a year on the Texas coast and heat
Pattern Name: Geometric
Update- we've had them almost a year. They have sat out in the Texas sun, at the coast, in high wind, and are doing great. We have also done the linseed oil twice so far. Second time with linseed (a few weeks ago) we also lightly sanded a few of the chairs. VERY minimal cracking or wear issues. We also lightly treated the hardware when we first assembled them and have NO rust issues. We like these chairs so much I felt that people deserved and update. Well worth the price. We bought 5 of these and didn’t have any issues with broken boards. I think a screw might have been missing on one. We are just going to spray some stuff on the hardware for rusting but it isn’t a serious concern for us right now. Really diggin’ the eucalyptus over the cedar chairs we almost purchased. Very comfortable for your big and tall friends. The back could be a little taller but no big deal. If you are under 5’5, your feet will not touch the ground and will go numb as mine did. Ha! But the ottoman COMPLETELY makes up for that. SO comfortable and nap worthy! A variety of different sizes sat for hours in these last night and everyone loved them. Great quality and heavier than you’d think. We’d buy again! ... show more

  • Excellent value
Pattern Name: Geometric
This was a quality product. It wasn't hard for this senior to put together and it looks much more expensive then it was. I don't really like the ottoman because it digs into your calf when not using it. Just sits a little too forward. I bought 2 and a table and was happy they all matched. I wanted the redwood color, but I guess that isn't an option anymore ... but the brown is prettier than in the picture! ... show more

  • Nice Chair with a few Issues
Pattern Name: Geometric
The overall construction (from Viet Nam) was very good. The wood was sanded better than most outdoor wood furniture that I have purchased over the years and the factory finish was O.K. They highly recommend putting a finish coat of oil on your new furniture. They recommended Boiled Linseed Oil (BLO) but I used Teak Oil. The Teak Oil is a bit more expensive than the BLO. Home Depot had the teak oil for $10 versus $7 for a quart of BLO. I used less than one quart for two coats on the chair and two coats on the small end table from the same vendor. I can probably get one more maintenance coat on the chair and table later in the year from the same can. The pull out foot stool is handy but a bit of a bother. I managed to jam it to where I needed a hammer and block of wood to pound it free. In normal use, and by being very careful, I imagine it won't be as much of a problem. It can be somewhat difficult to pull out on occasion and will need some care. The "cup holder" is a bit of a joke. The hole will accommodate a bottle of beer. The bottom of the bottle is kept from falling through by a plastic ring from which a very thin black nylon(?) string net is attached. I might risk a domestic beer in this but certainly not a nice import. The hole is not large enough for a wine glass stem and my wife doesn't drink beer. I'll probably cover the hole or come up with my own invention. For now she has the small table for her wine. The hardware for assembly is stainless steel (very nice) and seems like it will be up to the task. Having just demolished two former Adirondack wooden chairs probably 8 to 10 years old I could see where this design will be superior. My older chairs had steel screws, probably galvanized, which had rusted. Where the screws rusted the wood was prone to rot. When you assemble the chair take care to line up the screw with the pre-drilled holes as the new screws will make their own holes wherever you put them. If you do this (experience speaking here) the rest of the chair won't line up. Luckily I was able to pull the screws out and reposition the wood leg to properly line up the correct holes. The eucalyptus wood used is less expensive than teak, and, with proper maintenance, should last like teak. Ecologically the renewable eucalyptus is better for the environment. After just having oiled the chair and table I have to say they look very nice. The table, if you purchase one, is nice to look at. It is a quick assembly (4 nuts and washers) and is very light weight. My only complaint with the table is that they used staples to position the center slats. The staples are not visible but will probably quickly rust. On the up side I don't think the staples add much to the sturdiness of the table as the center slats are nested in a groove. The staples seem to have been used in assembly and will likely not matter if they fail. Overall I am happy with the purchase. The newly oiled furniture looks great and I also used Amazon to buy a $14 chair cover. The South Florida sun is brutal and rough on wood. ... show more
