We got these to play some hand eye coordination games with the younger kids this summer at our midweek church service activity time. We had gotten one of these tossing stick s in another set with reactionary balls, and the kids were having so much fun, but had a hard time waiting in line to play, so we decided to buy another one to make two lines and have it go faster. Our favorite way to play with the reactionary stick is to call out a color and then the child has to try and catch the color that was called out. If they miss and land on the wrong color, they go to the back of the line and the next child gets to try. It is such a great way to help with team building, hand eye coordination, color and pattern recognition, reflexes, social cues and more. We are planning to also use it to do story building activities. If it lands on the color they guessed, they get to tell the next portion of the story. There are tons of ways to use these and it really is good for kinetic learners or students who would rather learn while getting their wiggles out.

The media could not be loaded. We don't use these as intended, but they sure are fun. I had gotten some of these in a set, and the grandkids love bouncing them around so much it was becoming an issue having more kids than balls, so I found I could buy just these, and now they can all have their own when they play. The knobs on the sides make them bounce all over, so we play a game where we set up a bucket and they try to bounce their ball into it. Each child has their own color. They will spend HOURS doing this. No batteries or wifi required, just simple fun. These seem to be well made and holding up well.
