Awesome set
Great set, my first electronic one and it feels so great to play. The mesh skins have a much better feel than I was expecting, definitely made the right choice going with this set rather than the one with the small TCS pads (would have been WAY too small for me). The seller Sweetwater also includes their own warranty for no extra charge which is nice. The set feels like very good quality. ... show more

Great kit, but as others have mentioned. No bass pedal included.
Review Image by john schmerling
I would give 5 stars if it actually came with a double bass pedal. It is a bit deceiving when there's one in the picture. That said, the kit itself is great. The mesh heads have great rebound, and the cymbal triggers play surprisingly well, though obviously don't feel like real cymbals. I don't suspect anyone would think they would anyway. The frame is sturdy, and everything is easy to setup. The module has really good preset kits, and they sound great through headphones, or amplifiers alike. I did set my kit up left handed as I am left handed, and after several years of playing (part time) on right handed kits at the jam space, it is extremely nice to have a left handed kit again, no less at my house, so I can play much more regularly. I purchased a Tama Iron Cobra 200 double bass pedal for my kit. I was able to disassemble the pedal, and reassemble lefty. I also ordered a 2 leg hihat stand (comes in tomorrow), as the stand that comes with the kit is wide enough to accommodate a double pedal, it is tight. Not a knock on the kit, just a personal preference. Overall, I definitely recommend this kit. Just be aware the pedal isn't included. ... show more

Quit crying about having to buy a Kick Pedal!
Tire of seeing people knock this kit because of the Kick Pedal. I do understand that seeing the double kick pedal in the picture is misleading. They should remove that from the picture, or put a disclaimer in that picture that is easier to see. But, any drummer knows that you need to decide which Kick Pedal you plan to use. The Kick pedal is an important piece to your kit, and you definitely don't want some cheap pedal just thrown in. Do some research if you are new and what type of music you will be playing, and purchase a high end Kick Pedal. These pedals will come with you when you upgrade or get a new kit, and you can take them to acoustic kits if you ever do that. If you like Rock and Roll, this pedal is a good one. If you plan to pay some Rush and Led Zeppelin, get the double pedal version to start with. Tama HP900PN Iron Cobra Power Glide - Single Kick Drum Pedal Tama HP900PWN Iron Cobra Power Glide - Dual Kick Drum Pedal The 2nd thing I see online is people nocking this kit for not having Bluetooth. The last thing a drummer or any musician wants is latency. Latency is what happens when you use Bluetooth. You want this drum kit setup wired 100 percent. Small LCD screen is a legit complaint, but I use an iPad Pro with the DTX Touch app which gives you a large screen and total control over your drum kit. Also, you can buy a Snare Drum Stand and take your Snare Drum Pad off of the rack. Giving your tom's and Cymbals much better stability, and allowing you more freedom and angle with your Snare. This is just the start of my review. I will finish it later. ... show more

No kick pedal
Great kit, but be advised there is NOT a double kick pedal included in the box as there is in the picture. It works great and has many different modes, but that kick pedal missing was annoying. Good thing I had one from another kit.

Love it!
Amazing electric kit. I prefer acoustic kits, but those live in the bands jam space. This I can play at home without bothering anyone. Very close to real feel in for an electric kit.
