I've used it several weeks and through at least two thunderstorms with heavy wind and rain and it didn't leak. The screen room section is a little small but great for stashing shoes. Just what we needed! We was going on a camping trip and my daughter who has recently used one of our tents informed us that it needed replaced. We shopped everywhere but for some reason, during this pandemic, camping items are hard to find in stores. So when I found this one on amazon I went for it. I am glad I did. This tent is east to put up. Very roomy inside and works out great for my son and his friends when we go camping. This way they have their own space away from the adults. We have used it twice now for three teenage boys to sleep in. They are able to set it up themselves. Have plenty of room for all their belongings, three air mattresses (one being a queen size) and still have room to move around. So far we are impressed. Note * we have not used this during windy or wet weather, only in sunny warm weather * therefore I can not say how this would do during those situations. ... show more

Zipper was a little hard to open and close but other than that, amazing. It survived 40mph winds and rain and didn’t budge or leak, everything stayed dry. I used bigger stakes as the ones that came with bent when putting in the ground.

I can only say it's a great choice we just used it this weekend and didn't get wet at all during the Saturday that was raining the inside was completely dry, perfect size we could stand inside it with no problem the only thing I'll say it's the porch will be awesome if came with floor that can be attached to the tent but it's great. Also I'll like to add no instructions came with it but its pretty easy to assemble ... show more

Tent is huge, 6 adults fit comfortably. We camped for a week and it rained at night several days and violently one night and no water got in the tent. The front screened porch has no floor and, while screened, is worthless for keeping bugs out. The little ventilation it has around the tent is a bug highway to the screened porch you might as well leave the front screen unzipped. The whole top of the tent is screen which would be great ventilation but the rain fly all but closes it off making the tent stifling hot. You could leave the rain fly off and lose the screened porch that doesn't work anyway and hope it doesn't rain for ventilation. The 8 person tent only has 2 pockets for wallet/keys/cell phone/glasses/stuff. It looks good and will keep you dry but fails in too many places IMO. ... show more

We used this tent for camping and it was really big and roomy. I loved having the front porch to leave shoes. It was easy to put up. Porch doesn’t have a bottom so I used a tarp.

This tent is HUGE! I've used it twice now on 2trips. It's front porch area is screened in and keeps the bugs out. I put a small tarp underneath where the shade part is because it's just earth under there without the tarp. We take off our shoes in the porch area. For 2 adults and 2 kids it's like a mansion.
