I love the color, and my cats immediately loved it. I needed something sturdy because I have two cats and they love tall places so this cat tree is perfect. Assembly was pretty easy but a few pieces were mislabeled so I recommend paying close attention and keeping a couple steps ahead.

This is a nightmare to put together. Sort all the parts before starting. Some of the parts like the legs only have small differences and the leg with the bolt sticking out is the one on the top holding the platform. The bolts are tricky. There is two that are only a tiny bit shorter and you need them to attach the boxes to the L shaped plat form. If you don’t do this you might have to take a bunch of it apart to find the right screw. It’s nice when it’s together. Made good. Just use the directions and sort the parts!! If you are a person who don’t like to read the directions don’t buy this. ... show more

This was a gift for my son and his wife, Actually I guess it was a gift for their cat kids. Long and short of it is the cats play on it all day and have transitioned to sleeping on it at night. Overall this is a decent cat tower and it fits nicely into my office space. The color is listed as dark gray but it has a blueish tone to it which works very well with my color scheme. All three of my cats have been enjoying this cat tower and since there are multiple napping spots it isn't unusual to find two of them resting at the same time. Pros/Cons: +There are several sleeping areas- two enclosed and two higher posts. The cats have been trying them all out. +Sturdy. The lower height and wide base make this very sturdy.. +Multiple scratching posts in two different styles (one ramp and four posts). +Everything can be put together with the included allen wrench. =(Neutral) It isn't hard to put together if you look closely at the diagram but the directions could be clearer. To help others I've made some notes on the diagram. The most important thing is that the uncovered wood pieces are used for the top of the boxes. =The covers for the box are secured by an elastic drawstring but even if they were to snap the cover should be kept in place as it is pinned between two boards. -The holes for the bolts aren't counter sunk so the heads sit above the surface. The bolts used for the boxes are covered by the slip over fabric and not as noticeable but the ones on the rectangular upper bed are a little more exposed. If you have a drill and countersink drill bit (and I do) this is likely an easy fix (but I was lazy and left it as is). ... show more
