I was on the fence for a while, but decided to splurge and buy myself an Oura ring. I wish I bought it sooner! I've been an apple watch wearer for many years, but wanted more insights as I've been on a health and wellness journey. The ring was annoying at first, but now I hardly think about it or feel it. It's light weight and not obtrusively thick. I strongly recommend getting the sizing kit first and wearing the sizer for a while to get a feel for the ring. I chose to size it to fit my left pointer finger. The battery life is insane! I only have to charge it every few days. The sensors on the 3 don't hurt or feel weird or anything. I always wondered how legit this thing was, and if they could really tell what was going on but sure enough I wore it for a small inpatient procedure and my ring told me something was greatly stressing my body and I needed to take it easy! It's wild how it just knows! I also love learning about my sleep score and what effects it.

Well, I think it's slightly smaller than actual Oura ring v3 real sizes are (at least for size 12) Be aware that the actual ring feels a bit "bulkier" than the sizing ring. I would recommend the wear the sizing ring for at least 1 week if not 2 weeks, in cold weather and hot weather. Fingers swollen a lot when it's hot, and shrink when cold. It will give you the range of size you need. Keep in mind that the Oura ring needs to be quite tight or the measures won't be good. So the compromise is not easy to do as there are no 1/2 size. And it's stop at 14! I needed a 15 for my index, 14 is too tight. I can't wear it on the major due to an injury and 14 is too big the the annular finger. So I had not other choice than going for 12 on the annular. But it's not the best.

We were gonna buy the Oura ring but purchasing the ring sizing kit was off putting. The company offered a $10 credit if you bought the ring, so that seemed to offset the ring sizing kit. However the QR code on the ring kit for this credit does not apply the credit. The kit can't be returned despite there being a note on the box from Oura instructing you to return it after signing and despite it saying its eligible for return. Got sent in an endless loop between amazon and oura to get any kind of resolution. Tried to get in contact with customer service at oura for advice. They have been non responsive after saying they would contact within 72 hours. SO, we've decided NOT to go with Oura. If we have this many issues before even purchasing the actual ring, I don't wanna end up hundreds of dollars out only to have no way to resolve issues. We've decided on a different ring.

I bought it so I wouldn't have to send my ring back if I guessed the wrong size. But I still had to send my ring back and size down! The sizers fit my finger differently than the actual ring. I will concede that using the sizing kit made it so that I was only one size off, but it was still annoying to have to return and reorder when that's what I was trying to avoid with buying this.

I originally wasn't going to get this before purchasing the actual ring. I'm so glad a changed my mind. I would not have guessed my actual size. If you're on the fence, save yourself the headache later and get the tester first. Just double check which generation you're buying. 3 and 4 are not the same testers! My actual ring came in this morning (10/29/2024). So far so good with no issues. App was easy enough to set up and pair via Bluetooth. Ring fits same as the tester I picked. I'm using my index finger as recommended. Will update after a full day!
