I was looking for a way to measure my sleep and activity without having the discomfort of a smart watch on my wrist all night, taking into account that I already have an apple watch I wanted to follow my metrics and sometimes this one was a little sporty for more formal outings and this ring was the perfect solution. It's super light, you get used to the few hours. What I like the most is the precision with which it analyzes the rest; the application explains very clearly how your sleep influences the energy of the next day. The battery gives me perfectly for about 5 days and charges very quickly. A key point: I recommend using the size kit before ordering it, since the fingers swell a little at night, if you are indecisa between the tightest size and the one that fits you looser I recommend the tightest believe me this ring does not compare to the plastic of the kit and it will be perfect. It is very true to the size which surprised me my size corresponds to the same that I use for traditional rings. Although it requires a monthly subscription to see all the detailed data, I have met details specifically of my body that I didn't even know for me it has been totally worth it for the comfort and discretion it offers. Aesthetically it looks beautiful and goes with everything! I bought the silver because I usually use silver accessories and it has been the best decision, one thing that I don't like so much is that it scratches easily I am a full-time housewife and in household chores in less than a month I already had several scratches but they are not visible to the naked eye. I recommend it, I love it! 😁

I can honestly say the Oura Ring 5 exceeded my expectations. It’s one of those products that’s actually worth the hype. The design is beautiful and incredibly comfortable—I often forget I’m even wearing it. The battery life is excellent, the app is intuitive, and the insights go far beyond simple step counting. Sleep tracking has been incredibly detailed, and I love waking up to a complete picture of my recovery, readiness, heart rate, stress, and overall health. One feature that truly stands out is Pregnancy Insights. As someone using it throughout pregnancy, it’s been amazing to see how my body changes over time. Tracking trends like resting heart rate, body temperature, sleep quality, and recovery has given me a much better understanding of what my body is experiencing. I’m so happy with my Oura Ring 5! I was a little unsure about the sizing since I had used the Oura Ring 4 sizing kit before ordering, but I went with the same size and it fits perfectly. The ring is very comfortable to wear, even while sleeping, and I love how sleek and simple it looks. The app is easy to use and gives you a really clear overview of your sleep, recovery, activity, and overall wellbeing. I especially enjoy seeing the sleep and readiness data and learning more about how my daily habits affect my body. I’ve been really impressed with it so far and find myself checking the app every morning. I purchased a size 7 for myself, then a size 13 for my husband. With a 30% practitioner discount, I also bought a size 6 as a secondary ring for myself. I wear the 7 on my pinky finger on my less-dominant hand. When it gets cold, though, the 7 can easily slide off, so I switch to the 6. When I fly, the 7 is the better size to travel with because of swelling, and sometimes I stack a smaller ring on top to make sure it stays put. I’ve been anti-wearables for a while because of concerns about EMF exposure and cancer. I work in Integrative Oncology. However, the EMF from the Oura is low, and it doesn’t constantly send signals to your phone. You can even put it in airplane mode at night if you want. The app provides great information. The $6 monthly fee is worth it for all the data. Even though I work in nutrition and lifestyle, I learned a few things about my resting heart rate at night and what can easily disrupt the target range. No issues with pools, showers, or water. No issues with connectivity or battery life. My photo shows the sizing difference between a size (6) Oura 4 (bottom) and Oura 5 (top). The Oura 5 rings are much slimmer and, honestly, more comfortable. They look more like regular rings, which I prefer.

I’ve been wearing the Oura Smart Ring 5 for a little over 2 months now and I can honestly say it was worth it for me. It’s helped me keep track of my sleep cycles, getting back into a good sleep routine. It has also been super helpful and extremely accurate about my cycle. If you’re TTC it also helps take your temp and you can connect it to your flo. It has a lot of helpful features in addition to those, including fitness stuff. The battery life is great, I went on a 5 day vacation and it still had a couple days of battery life left after that. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get into healthier routines and keep track of their life. It’s a bit pricey, but ultimately it pays for itself. And for anyone that wasn’t aware, there is a monthly or yearly membership you need for the ring. Also it holds up very well, pretty durable ( I have very micro scratching ) & water resistant, I wash my hands with it on, A LOT!

So I basically paid over $400 for a little silver ring to tell me when I’m stressed, when I slept like crap, when I need to recover, and apparently that my heart is 8 YEARS YOUNGER than me 😂 Honestly, that alone made me feel like the purchase was worth it. I got the Oura Ring 5 in silver, size 6, and I really do love it. The silver is beautiful and looks like a regular piece of jewelry, which I like because I didn’t want anything bulky or super obvious. What surprised me the most is how much this little ring tracks. It tracks literally every little detail, sleep, heart rate, stress, recovery, activity, readiness, temperature trends, and so much more. I didn’t think I would care about half of this stuff until I started seeing my own data, and now I check the app every morning like I’m waiting for medical test results 😂 The sleep tracking is probably one of my favorite features. It has made me realize how much my sleep actually affects everything else. I also love the stress tracking because somehow this ring knows I’m stressed before I even admit that I’m stressed. Very disrespectful, but accurate lol. And then it told me my cardiovascular age was 8 years younger than my actual age?! Excuse me?? 😂 That made my entire day. I was walking around like okayyy healthy queen. The size 6 fits me well. Sometimes it feels a little snug when my fingers swell, but overall it’s comfortable and I barely notice it. I wear it basically all day, including in the shower, and the battery has been good so far. Is it expensive? YES. Is paying for a membership after spending that much on the ring slightly offensive? Also yes 😂 But I actually use it every single day, and it has made me much more aware of my sleep, stress, recovery, and overall health. If you’re nosy about your own body and want to know every little thing it’s doing, you’ll probably love this ring. I definitely do.

Love this ring so much these newer models are fairly small they are not bulky. Tracks so much more then just your sleep. Whether it’s your health you are wanting to watch or a weightloss journey this is Great for both. I use it to track my steps, the amount of calories I’m burning and so so much more. Highly highly recommend. I’m also a big fan of the fact that you’re only charging every few days or so. Compared to the Apple Watch this is an upgrade also you forget it’s there it’s comfortable.

I rarely leave reviews, but this product deserves one. I’ve been interested in the smart health ring category for a while, but I always assumed it wasn’t something I needed. I was wrong. I stopped tracking my sleep because wearing a device on my wrist at night was simply too uncomfortable. It would occasionally wake me up when I moved during sleep. Eventually, I decided to give a smart ring a try. I started with the Oura Ring 4. While I could still feel its presence during the day, it completely disappeared the moment I fell asleep. The sleep tracking seemed incredibly accurate. The ring knew the difference between simply lying still and actually being asleep. What surprised me even more was its ability to capture every single nap with precise timing, accurately detecting exactly when I fell asleep and woke up. For sleep tracking, the ring is simply perfect. Waking up with a clear understanding of how well I recovered the night before gives me genuine motivation to make better choices throughout the day, and that insight is invaluable. Plus, on days when I don’t feel like wearing a watch, I don’t have to. The ring completely covers my fitness tracking needs. It maps out exactly when my heart rate spikes throughout the day and night, making it incredibly easy to understand which activities place stress on my body and which have little impact. The real turning point happened a few days ago when I got seriously sick. The first thing I saw when opening the Oura app that morning was a warning that my body was under significant strain, along with an elevated body temperature reading. I felt absolutely terrible, and the ring knew it. It made the device feel less like a passive biometric tracker and more like a protective tool that warns you when something is wrong. Even now, when I feel almost completely recovered, the app still indicates minor signs of strain and suggests taking it easy. When I switched to the new Oura Ring 5, I was completely blown away. It practically disappeared on my finger. I should mention that choosing a slightly larger size made a huge difference. Because it isn’t squeezing my finger, it’s actually far less noticeable. I originally assumed the tighter the fit, the better, but I was wrong. The difference in weight and thickness compared to the Ring 4 is dramatic. Pictures online honestly don’t do it justice. I genuinely don’t notice it’s there anymore, whether it’s daytime or nighttime. I also love how quickly it warms up and blends with body temperature. The polished surface makes it significantly more comfortable than the plastic sizing kit rings. It was an incredibly smart decision for the company to focus on miniaturizing what was already a very successful product. On top of that, the redesigned gold finish finally looks like actual gold, and the technology now feels like a piece of jewelry rather than a gadget. Room for Improvement If I had two suggestions, the first would be the ability to manually trigger a heart rate or body temperature measurement on demand, either through a button press or a home screen widget. Even if these manual readings consumed slightly more battery, they would be highly appreciated by users who want immediate access to that information. Second, one of the best upgrades Oura could possibly introduce would be a smart alarm. Having the ring track your sleep cycles and trigger your phone alarm at the optimal moment within a designated wake-up window would make this device absolutely priceless. It’s definitely expensive, especially when you factor in the monthly subscription. However, if it fits your budget, I think you’re going to love it.
