This is my first Oura ring so I can’t really compare to the previous versions first hand but will share my thoughts so far! I was surprised with how lightweight this one is (not in a good way..) but when looking at reviews on the older Oura rings apparently that’s better because they were too heavy, thick, etc. In my opinion it does feel very cheap HOWEVER the comfort and functions of this ring are VERY impressive! I’d give it a chance if your first reaction was like mine being that it feels cheap and not worth the price tag because after seeing all the functions and feedback it gives, it’s worth it and way better than an Apple Watch. (Plus taking into consideration it’s not a solid metal ring so it is going to be more lightweight. ) The app is easy, accurate and informative! Highly recommend this! ... show more

I bought this because I saw that it was slimmer, and not as bulky, I could not be more happy with this purchase! I used to have the Ultrahuman air ring and the Oura ring is definitely better in my opinion. I loved my Ultrahuman but after about a year I stopped wearing it because it was just uncomfortable and I had to get a replacement about 7 months after purchasing it because it wouldn’t charge or connect to the app. The only complaint I have is that it sometimes takes a while to connect to the app (about 3 minutes or so) when you open the app. It does still scratch but it’s not super noticeable. I love the silver color because it just looks like normal jewelry. I also like that it connects to the cycle tracking with natural cycles, makes it easier to understand what my body is doing. I haven’t had any major issues with it so far and I’m hoping I don’t because I do love this ring! I had to help my fiancé work on a customer vehicle and it held up while holding heavy parts. Definitely worth the money, you get what you pay for in my opinion. ... show more

The slim size it a very nice upgrade over the 4 and doesn't affect her grip at all. . I would suggest if you are a half size you should go up a size. So example is you are a 9 1/2 get the 10. That would make room for swelling. Very thin it feels like jewelry. It is also light weight. It has been a week and received 6 days of battery life. I have worn it in the shower and when washing my hands. I have banged it against doors and my desk and so far no scratches.
