Worth the Hype
Style: Ring Size: 10 Color: Silver
I can honestly say the Oura Ring 5 exceeded my expectations. It’s one of those products that’s actually worth the hype. The design is beautiful and incredibly comfortable—I often forget I’m even wearing it. The battery life is excellent, the app is intuitive, and the insights go far beyond simple step counting. Sleep tracking has been incredibly detailed, and I love waking up to a complete picture of my recovery, readiness, heart rate, stress, and overall health. One feature that truly stands out is Pregnancy Insights. As someone using it throughout pregnancy, it’s been amazing to see how my body changes over time. Tracking trends like resting heart rate, body temperature, sleep quality, and recovery has given me a much better understanding of what my body is experiencing. Of course, it’s not a medical device, but it’s been an incredibly valuable wellness companion during this journey. I also appreciate how the recommendations feel personalized instead of generic. The ring has actually encouraged me to prioritize sleep and recovery, which has made a noticeable difference in how I feel day to day. If you’re on the fence because of the price, I’d say it’s an investment in your health that you’ll use every single day. For me, it’s easily become my favorite wearable, and I wouldn’t want to be without it. ... show more

Accurate, stylish and has remained scratch free for 3 weeks
Style: Ring Size: 7 Color: Silver
Update: still a good purchase and works well. However, if you are sensitive to light at night, it will wake you up lol. From time to time, red and green lights flash from the inside of the ring. It is bright at night. Especially if you happen to move your hand near your face, it’s like someone is pointing a flashlight at you. I bought this to track my sleep which was not great before, but now I have another thing disturbing my sleep. I still give it 5 stars because it is a good smart device, but that light is killing me. 😆 So far so good. I was worried that the shiny finish was going to be a magnet for scratches, but after a week of continuous use, it has held up very well. The features are fairly similar to my Apple Watch, but I only wear that while out. Having a longer battery life and being relatively comfortable to wear has allowed me to track things that I didn’t track before such as sleep. Also, the other morning I woke up feeling extra tired. When I looked at the app it said I was showing serious signs of strain and to rest. I felt exhausted all day so it was very accurate in sensing that something was off. It has taken some getting used to because I don’t wear much jewelry and I certainly do not wear any to sleep. I am very aware that it is on in the middle of the night and find myself switching it around. It really is not that much bigger than a regular band, but if you are not used to wearing rings, it might take some time to adjust. ... show more

Oura ring 5 and 4
Style: Ring Size: 11 Color: Gold
I rarely leave reviews, but this product deserves one. I’ve been interested in the smart health ring category for a while, but I always assumed it wasn’t something I needed. I was wrong. I stopped tracking my sleep because wearing a device on my wrist at night was simply too uncomfortable. It would occasionally wake me up when I moved during sleep. Eventually, I decided to give a smart ring a try. I started with the Oura Ring 4. While I could still feel its presence during the day, it completely disappeared the moment I fell asleep. The sleep tracking seemed incredibly accurate. The ring knew the difference between simply lying still and actually being asleep. What surprised me even more was its ability to capture every single nap with precise timing, accurately detecting exactly when I fell asleep and woke up. For sleep tracking, the ring is simply perfect. Waking up with a clear understanding of how well I recovered the night before gives me genuine motivation to make better choices throughout the day, and that insight is invaluable. Plus, on days when I don’t feel like wearing a watch, I don’t have to. The ring completely covers my fitness tracking needs. It maps out exactly when my heart rate spikes throughout the day and night, making it incredibly easy to understand which activities place stress on my body and which have little impact. The real turning point happened a few days ago when I got seriously sick. The first thing I saw when opening the Oura app that morning was a warning that my body was under significant strain, along with an elevated body temperature reading. I felt absolutely terrible, and the ring knew it. It made the device feel less like a passive biometric tracker and more like a protective tool that warns you when something is wrong. Even now, when I feel almost completely recovered, the app still indicates minor signs of strain and suggests taking it easy. When I switched to the new Oura Ring 5, I was completely blown away. It practically disappeared on my finger. I should mention that choosing a slightly larger size made a huge difference. Because it isn’t squeezing my finger, it’s actually far less noticeable. I originally assumed the tighter the fit, the better, but I was wrong. The difference in weight and thickness compared to the Ring 4 is dramatic. Pictures online honestly don’t do it justice. I genuinely don’t notice it’s there anymore, whether it’s daytime or nighttime. I also love how quickly it warms up and blends with body temperature. The polished surface makes it significantly more comfortable than the plastic sizing kit rings. It was an incredibly smart decision for the company to focus on miniaturizing what was already a very successful product. On top of that, the redesigned gold finish finally looks like actual gold, and the technology now feels like a piece of jewelry rather than a gadget. Room for Improvement If I had two suggestions, the first would be the ability to manually trigger a heart rate or body temperature measurement on demand, either through a button press or a home screen widget. Even if these manual readings consumed slightly more battery, they would be highly appreciated by users who want immediate access to that information. Second, one of the best upgrades Oura could possibly introduce would be a smart alarm. Having the ring track your sleep cycles and trigger your phone alarm at the optimal moment within a designated wake-up window would make this device absolutely priceless. It’s definitely expensive, especially when you factor in the monthly subscription. However, if it fits your budget, I think you’re going to love it. ... show more

if you have the money, definitely get it
Style: Ring Size: 11 Color: Silver
I’ve been wearing the Oura Smart Ring 5 for a little over 2 months now and I can honestly say it was worth it for me. It’s helped me keep track of my sleep cycles, getting back into a good sleep routine. It has also been super helpful and extremely accurate about my cycle. If you’re TTC it also helps take your temp and you can connect it to your flo. It has a lot of helpful features in addition to those, including fitness stuff. The battery life is great, I went on a 5 day vacation and it still had a couple days of battery life left after that. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get into healthier routines and keep track of their life. It’s a bit pricey, but ultimately it pays for itself. And for anyone that wasn’t aware, there is a monthly or yearly membership you need for the ring. Also it holds up very well, pretty durable ( I have very micro scratching ) & water resistant, I wash my hands with it on, A LOT! ... show more

Just BUY it
Style: Ring Size: 6 Color: Silver
So I basically paid over $400 for a little silver ring to tell me when I’m stressed, when I slept like crap, when I need to recover, and apparently that my heart is 8 YEARS YOUNGER than me 😂 Honestly, that alone made me feel like the purchase was worth it. I got the Oura Ring 5 in silver, size 6, and I really do love it. The silver is beautiful and looks like a regular piece of jewelry, which I like because I didn’t want anything bulky or super obvious. What surprised me the most is how much this little ring tracks. It tracks literally every little detail, sleep, heart rate, stress, recovery, activity, readiness, temperature trends, and so much more. I didn’t think I would care about half of this stuff until I started seeing my own data, and now I check the app every morning like I’m waiting for medical test results 😂 The sleep tracking is probably one of my favorite features. It has made me realize how much my sleep actually affects everything else. I also love the stress tracking because somehow this ring knows I’m stressed before I even admit that I’m stressed. Very disrespectful, but accurate lol. And then it told me my cardiovascular age was 8 years younger than my actual age?! Excuse me?? 😂 That made my entire day. I was walking around like okayyy healthy queen. The size 6 fits me well. Sometimes it feels a little snug when my fingers swell, but overall it’s comfortable and I barely notice it. I wear it basically all day, including in the shower, and the battery has been good so far. Is it expensive? YES. Is paying for a membership after spending that much on the ring slightly offensive? Also yes 😂 But I actually use it every single day, and it has made me much more aware of my sleep, stress, recovery, and overall health. If you’re nosy about your own body and want to know every little thing it’s doing, you’ll probably love this ring. I definitely do. ... show more

Beautiful ring!!
Style: Ring Size: 7 Color: Silver
I love this ring! It is my first Oura ring so I can't compare it to other generation rings. So far I am loving it. It tracks things very well. My sleep, my stress levels, my activity, my steps. And much more importantly still learning about. I did have to exchange for a smaller size. So if you are in between sizes and you feel as if the bigger size is too loose when your cold or your finger aren't swollen, definitely go for the smaller size. You want it snug. It tracks really well when snug. So far the battery life is holding strong for only 5 days, can and will definitely go longer. I wouldn't recommend wearing it if you go to the gym and lift heavy weights. If you do, definitely get a cover for it. It is very comfortable, totally different from the sizer rings. For sure not a MUST have but it is a great addition to everyday life if you are wanting to track more things and start learning more about your body. ... show more

Great Everyday Health Tracker
Style: Ring Size: 6 Color: Brushed Silver
Here’s a smoother, more natural version of your review: I’ve been really impressed with this ring overall. It’s extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear, even all day and overnight. The sleep tracking has been very accurate. I’ve used Apple Health for years, and since day one the ring has matched my usual sleep patterns almost perfectly. Compared to my Apple Watch, it’s usually only off by a few minutes, especially during the first week. Setting it up was incredibly fast and easy. Connecting it to my phone took only a few minutes, and syncing with both Apple Health and Strava was seamless. I also find it much more comfortable than the Oura Ring 4. I have small hands and fingers, so the Ring 5 fits me much better. As a healthcare worker who wears gloves constantly, it’s also much easier to use while working. The only real downside for me is the battery life. It doesn’t last a full week. Because I’m very active, I typically get about four days on a charge. I usually top it off while I’m showering, which helps. I also have one of the smallest ring sizes, so I think that contributes to the shorter battery life. From what I’ve read, the larger ring sizes tend to have better battery life. I chose the brushed silver finish because I wanted something that would hide scratches well, and for the most part it does. However, I accidentally scraped it against tile, and that scratch has remained, which is a little disappointing. Overall, I think it’s a great health and lifestyle tracker for everyday use. It does an excellent job tracking sleep and daily activity, and I enjoy having goals to work toward because they keep me motivated to stay healthy. I still use my Apple Watch for more intense fitness tracking, like running, but the ring has become a great companion for monitoring my overall health. ... show more

Great tracking ring with unfortunate sizing
Style: Ring Size: 7 Color: Gold
I’m so pleased with the Oura ring. I used the Apple Watch for years, but this ring tops the watch in so many ways. It tracks more accurately and gives you much better results. And you can’t beat the battery life. The sizing is my only complaint. Oura does not offer half sizes, which I need. The 6 was too small when I was working out, sleeping or just hot, when the body naturally swells due to edema. Otherwise, it fit a couple of my fingers well. I had to get the 7, which at most times easily slides off my finger and turns often. I’m constantly checking the ring to ensure the sensors are where they should be. And it only fits my right index finger. It’s too big for all my other fingers. So, all-in-all, I’m thrilled with the Oura ring and glad I purchased it. ... show more
