  • Great Everyday Health Tracker
Style: Ring Size: 6 Color: Brushed Silver
Here’s a smoother, more natural version of your review: I’ve been really impressed with this ring overall. It’s extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear, even all day and overnight. The sleep tracking has been very accurate. I’ve used Apple Health for years, and since day one the ring has matched my usual sleep patterns almost perfectly. Compared to my Apple Watch, it’s usually only off by a few minutes, especially during the first week. Setting it up was incredibly fast and easy. Connecting it to my phone took only a few minutes, and syncing with both Apple Health and Strava was seamless. I also find it much more comfortable than the Oura Ring 4. I have small hands and fingers, so the Ring 5 fits me much better. As a healthcare worker who wears gloves constantly, it’s also much easier to use while working. The only real downside for me is the battery life. It doesn’t last a full week. Because I’m very active, I typically get about four days on a charge. I usually top it off while I’m showering, which helps. I also have one of the smallest ring sizes, so I think that contributes to the shorter battery life. From what I’ve read, the larger ring sizes tend to have better battery life. I chose the brushed silver finish because I wanted something that would hide scratches well, and for the most part it does. However, I accidentally scraped it against tile, and that scratch has remained, which is a little disappointing. Overall, I think it’s a great health and lifestyle tracker for everyday use. It does an excellent job tracking sleep and daily activity, and I enjoy having goals to work toward because they keep me motivated to stay healthy. I still use my Apple Watch for more intense fitness tracking, like running, but the ring has become a great companion for monitoring my overall health. ... show more

  • A fantastic upgrade!
Style: Ring Size: 12 Color: Stealth
I had the Oura Ring 4 and after almost a year and a half, it started to not hold a charge for more than a couple of days. I ordered the sizing kit and then ordered the ring in size 12 Stealth (keep in mind the sizing on the Oura Ring 5 is different than it is for the Oura Ring 4, so if you're upgrading, you do need to order the sizing kit (which is credited towards the purchase of the Oura 5). The new ring seems more accurate and precise, it's much smaller which makes it more comfortable than the 4. I also feel that the all titanium construction is more robust than the last version. I bought the Stealth version and after a couple of weeks it's showing no signs of any scratches. I also think it looks better, I wore the 4 on my right index finger and that's the same finger I'm wearing the 5 on. It looks better and, again, is more comfortable. This is an expensive solution for a ring but it's discreet, has seems to be able to read more vitals, and is more accurate. It seems to communicate with the app on my iPhone with more frequent updates. The battery life is fantastic, I got seven full days on a charge. I'm about to take a two week road trip and I also bought the charging case I'm pretty confident that I'll be covered. ... show more

  • Oura ring 5 and 4
Style: Ring Size: 11 Color: Gold
I rarely leave reviews, but this product deserves one. I’ve been interested in the smart health ring category for a while, but I always assumed it wasn’t something I needed. I was wrong. I stopped tracking my sleep because wearing a device on my wrist at night was simply too uncomfortable. It would occasionally wake me up when I moved during sleep. Eventually, I decided to give a smart ring a try. I started with the Oura Ring 4. While I could still feel its presence during the day, it completely disappeared the moment I fell asleep. The sleep tracking seemed incredibly accurate. The ring knew the difference between simply lying still and actually being asleep. What surprised me even more was its ability to capture every single nap with precise timing, accurately detecting exactly when I fell asleep and woke up. For sleep tracking, the ring is simply perfect. Waking up with a clear understanding of how well I recovered the night before gives me genuine motivation to make better choices throughout the day, and that insight is invaluable. Plus, on days when I don’t feel like wearing a watch, I don’t have to. The ring completely covers my fitness tracking needs. It maps out exactly when my heart rate spikes throughout the day and night, making it incredibly easy to understand which activities place stress on my body and which have little impact. The real turning point happened a few days ago when I got seriously sick. The first thing I saw when opening the Oura app that morning was a warning that my body was under significant strain, along with an elevated body temperature reading. I felt absolutely terrible, and the ring knew it. It made the device feel less like a passive biometric tracker and more like a protective tool that warns you when something is wrong. Even now, when I feel almost completely recovered, the app still indicates minor signs of strain and suggests taking it easy. When I switched to the new Oura Ring 5, I was completely blown away. It practically disappeared on my finger. I should mention that choosing a slightly larger size made a huge difference. Because it isn’t squeezing my finger, it’s actually far less noticeable. I originally assumed the tighter the fit, the better, but I was wrong. The difference in weight and thickness compared to the Ring 4 is dramatic. Pictures online honestly don’t do it justice. I genuinely don’t notice it’s there anymore, whether it’s daytime or nighttime. I also love how quickly it warms up and blends with body temperature. The polished surface makes it significantly more comfortable than the plastic sizing kit rings. It was an incredibly smart decision for the company to focus on miniaturizing what was already a very successful product. On top of that, the redesigned gold finish finally looks like actual gold, and the technology now feels like a piece of jewelry rather than a gadget. Room for Improvement If I had two suggestions, the first would be the ability to manually trigger a heart rate or body temperature measurement on demand, either through a button press or a home screen widget. Even if these manual readings consumed slightly more battery, they would be highly appreciated by users who want immediate access to that information. Second, one of the best upgrades Oura could possibly introduce would be a smart alarm. Having the ring track your sleep cycles and trigger your phone alarm at the optimal moment within a designated wake-up window would make this device absolutely priceless. It’s definitely expensive, especially when you factor in the monthly subscription. However, if it fits your budget, I think you’re going to love it. ... show more

  • Smaller, Sleeker, and More Comfortable
Style: Ring Size: 11 Color: Stealth
I recently upgraded from the Oura Ring 4 to the Oura Ring 5, and the difference is immediately noticeable. The design feels more refined and modern, with a sleek finish that looks great whether I am at work or relaxing at home. It has a subtle, premium look that does not feel bulky or distracting. One of the first things I appreciated was the packaging. It is clear that more thought went into making it eco friendly, which adds to the overall positive experience. It feels good to see a brand prioritize sustainability while still delivering a high quality product presentation. The ring itself is smaller and more comfortable than the previous version. I barely notice I am wearing it throughout the day, and it sits more naturally on my finger. That improvement alone made the upgrade worth it for me. The fit and feel are excellent, especially if you value something lightweight and unobtrusive. Overall, I am extremely happy with this upgrade. The combination of improved design, comfort, and thoughtful packaging makes the Oura Ring 5 feel like a meaningful step forward. It is one of those upgrades that just makes sense once you experience it. ... show more

  • Perfect Oura update
Style: Ring Size: 7 Color: Silver
This is my third Oura Ring, and I’ve been wearing Oura for over six years. This newest model is much smaller, lighter, and more comfortable to wear. So far, I haven’t experienced any data issues with the new release. Unfortunately, the photo doesn’t really show the size difference. The battery life isn’t amazing, but it’s acceptable for everything the ring tracks, and it charges quickly. After wearing it for about a week, I’ve found I need to charge it every three days, which is a little more often than Oura advertises. I’d love to see Oura offer this smaller size in the beautiful ceramic colors they released for a short time. It does an excellent job tracking steps, sleep, and heart rate. If you’re thinking about getting one, I highly recommend it. Mine stays on my finger just like my wedding ring… it rarely comes off. ... show more

  • Love it!
Style: Ring Size: 11 Color: Silver
I bought this because I saw that it was slimmer, and not as bulky, I could not be more happy with this purchase! I used to have the Ultrahuman air ring and the Oura ring is definitely better in my opinion. I loved my Ultrahuman but after about a year I stopped wearing it because it was just uncomfortable and I had to get a replacement about 7 months after purchasing it because it wouldn’t charge or connect to the app. The only complaint I have is that it sometimes takes a while to connect to the app (about 3 minutes or so) when you open the app. It does still scratch but it’s not super noticeable. I love the silver color because it just looks like normal jewelry. I also like that it connects to the cycle tracking with natural cycles, makes it easier to understand what my body is doing. I haven’t had any major issues with it so far and I’m hoping I don’t because I do love this ring! I had to help my fiancé work on a customer vehicle and it held up while holding heavy parts. Definitely worth the money, you get what you pay for in my opinion. ... show more

  • Give it a chance!
Style: Ring Size: 7 Color: Silver
This is my first Oura ring so I can’t really compare to the previous versions first hand but will share my thoughts so far! I was surprised with how lightweight this one is (not in a good way..) but when looking at reviews on the older Oura rings apparently that’s better because they were too heavy, thick, etc. In my opinion it does feel very cheap HOWEVER the comfort and functions of this ring are VERY impressive! I’d give it a chance if your first reaction was like mine being that it feels cheap and not worth the price tag because after seeing all the functions and feedback it gives, it’s worth it and way better than an Apple Watch. (Plus taking into consideration it’s not a solid metal ring so it is going to be more lightweight. ) The app is easy, accurate and informative! Highly recommend this! ... show more

  • ★★★★★ Unbelievably comfortable and finally practical for the gym!
Style: Ring Size: 8 Color: Black
Oura completely knocked it out of the park with the Ring 5. I have been looking for comprehensive health tracking that doesn't feel obtrusive, and this miniaturized design is exactly what was needed. Here is why I highly recommend the size 8 Black model: Barely-There Comfort: They aren't kidding about it being the "world's smallest." At 40% slimmer than previous generations, it makes a massive difference in daily wear. I can actually wear it comfortably while weightlifting without it digging into my fingers or throwing off my grip. Incredible Durability: The black titanium finish is sleek, and the upgraded PVD coating is surprisingly tough. Despite heavy daily wear and regular gym sessions, it has held up flawlessly without picking up frustrating scratches. Pinpoint Accuracy: The new 12-pathway sensors are incredibly precise. Whether it is tracking my heart rate on the treadmill or breaking down my overnight sleep stages and daily stress levels, the data is consistent and genuinely useful for optimizing recovery. Set-It-and-Forget-It Battery: Getting 6 to 9 days of battery life out of something this tiny is fantastic. It charges quickly, meaning I never have to worry about missing overnight sleep data because it died on my finger. If you want precise health and recovery insights without the distraction of a bulky wrist wearable, this is hands-down the best device available. The smaller form factor is an absolute game-changer! ... show more
