First of all: I love the brushed silver finish. It is really cute. I use the ring with two other thin rings covered in zirconia e it looks amazing. But I also do it because that way I feel the ring stays in place more easily. I’m not sure why, because I bought the sizing kit and used the size 6 tester for a few days before ordering, but the ring doesn’t fit quite perfectly, it is looser than the one from the sizing kit, which did fit perfectly. This one is a bit larger. Which worries me is that if I lose weight this ring wont fit at all, because my other fingers are less thin but I have wide knuckles on all my fingers but the ring one (where I use it currently and I find most comfortable for this purpose). Anyways, I have been loving the ring and the app and all the information it provides. I was hesitant to buy the oura ring and thought about it for quite some time (more than a year) because I thought it was kind of redundant having an apple watch and this smart ring, but boy was I wrong! The information it provides is something else, and since I have been focusing on the quality of my sleep and stress management for a while now, this ring (with the subscription) is the perfect tool to do so. I wish I had gotten it sooner! The battery lasts a really long time, for me it has been around one week, but sometimes I charge it a bit while I’m in the shower washing my hair, just because I remove it so I place it in the charger. Definitely get the sizing kit before you buy it. After having it for many months, I can say with certainty that this thing RULES! Life changer. A few more things quick...first, I got the brushed stainless finish. Its beautiful and gets more beautiful as it ages, scratches and gets more and more beat up. Yes, I said MORE beautiful as it gets worn. So dont be afraid to wear it. Im a mechanic and its held strong. Second, I like wearing REAL watches. Not smart watches. This allows me to wear "real" watches and also have all the same functions a "smart watch" has, but on my finger. The app is wonderful. It costs money but its always being updated and its a legitimate health tracker. Ill gladly pay monthly if the developers keep making these great updates. I super duper recommend! I bought my ring on June 23rd 2025. It is now October 9th 2025. I have worn it pretty much every day since I got it. At first it lasted 4-5 days on a charge. Over the past couple of months that has been severely reduced. I now get maybe a day out of it max. If I do not put it on the charger every day, when I go to look at it it is dead. I tried to just put it on the charger every day when I shower, but I guess that's not enough to keep it charged. At this point, this thing is such a chore to keep charged, it i easier to go back to the ways I monitored my sleep and workouts in the past with older technology. I should throw it away, but I paid over $400 for it. I cant sell it because what am I supposed to do, tell people you have to charge it every 20 hours and that in another month you will have to charge it every 10 hours judging by the rate it has lost battery capacity so far. Its not scratched up, hasn't been abused, and I don't work near large magnets or anything. I am a trained technician and this tech item I bought is a sub-par disappointing waste of money. ... show more

Love my Oura ring. I’ve had a great experience with it! I tried the ring at Best Buy for selecting a size and the fit was pretty good. Sometimes feel looser than other times, but that’s just fluid fluctuations. It does scratch somewhat easily, but still looks pretty good after 3 months, you just need to be careful. Water resistance and durability are pretty good, taken it to the beach, shower, gym, no issues. Setting up is easy on an iPhone. ... show more

I had the RingConn first generation fitness ring, and it was pretty good for the most part. It was an inaccurate in terms of recording steps and calories. it would usually record more than 1000 steps than my Apple Watch or my Garmin watch. I thought about getting the GEN two ring but I saw that they were in a lawsuit with Oura . So I decided to try the fourth generation or a ring and this is my assessment after about two weeks of using it. I find that it’s pretty accurate for recording steps and it does a decent job of recording your sleep at night. The pulse monitor can be iffy sometimes if you have atrial fibrillation or if you have cold hands or if you sleep in a way that moves the ring. However, the reason why I’m giving it four stars instead of five stars is that the ring does not have a great battery life. I have to admit I’m a little disappointed that the ring only gets a little more than two days before you have to charge it again. It’s not a dealbreaker because I can put it on the charger while I’m taking a shower or if I’m not doing something. But the battery life is probably the worst of any of these devices I’ve seen except for maybe the Apple Watch, which isn’t great either. Would I buy it again? I’m not sure, it’s not that much better than the RingConn ring but because RingConn is facing the possibility of being locked out from the US market, I can’t recommend them either.
