I love this generator. I was fortunate that I didn't lose power during recent ice storms, but I followed the instructions from OUPES and charged the generator then used it to run a space heater during the day for 4 days. I am an old lady, not as strong as I once was, so I keep the generator on a rolling cart that I can move easily to where I need it, plus it's high enough I don't have to stand on my head to see it. Instructions say to charge it every 3 months. I set a reminder to charge it and use it every 3 months. I want it to still work when I need it. The charge rate was excellent, it is capable of powering my space heater and small microwave and refrigerator. The unit is well built and works well and I believe it will last quite a few years.     • The generator is no good and the company is not replacing the faulty equipment.

I bought one of these generators and was very disappointed in the product. When I took the product home it had 64% charge. I used it one night to power my fridge. The next day I tried charging to no avail. There were multiple error signals on the generator saying that one cell of the battery was low. I contacted the company and the gave me a run around not able to replace the product. I even suggest to bring the product back to the US for repair and they would not help me with that. I ask for a battery to replace the one that is not recharging. they said they do not sell parts like that. Now I have a brand knew generator that I paid over $1000 for that is worthless. ... show more
