It works wonderfully.
Style: Mega 3
Excellent portable power station. It is powerful, silent and very easy to use. The battery lasts a long time and allows multiple devices to be charged at the same time without any problem. Ideal for emergencies, travel or camping. Very good quality . I recommend it.

Great for Home Backup
Style: Mega 3
To avoid running my generator at night in the event of a blackout, I use the Oupes Mega 3. I plug the unit's 30 amp output into my transfer panel. It will run my two fridges, two freezers, and various lights and outlets for almost 10 hours. This will only run 120v appliances, so no 240v, but I was aware of this prior to purchase. The Oupes app is sufficient for monitoring the battery percentage, time remaining, and the current load. The unit is well-built, and I have had zero issues with it since it arrived. I would recommend waiting for a sale, as great discounts are available occasionally. ... show more

Perfect (Mid Model) $
Style: Mega 3
This would get too deep... We are talking $ ("Real" Hard solar panels (I wouldn't mess with the portable panels as you will be heart broken but they are doing a good job with the power...better than my hard panels of 4 - 485 Watt Panels = $1,000, 200ft Wire Run 2 - #4AWG + 1 - #6 ground $800 // Pro Tran 2 Transfer Switch $400 + // I bought the Predator 5,000 W Inverter Generator Harbor F. $1,200 total...Make sure you buy an "Inverter" style for "Clean" power or you'll be sorry!...PS: You can also raise the idle of an older generator,...just make sure you got 110 Volts 60 Hz...verify with a "Kill-O-Watt" meter ) ((Personally" If you go: *Mega 3, *Generator... Panels, Transfer Switch in that order. ...Your goal first is to have power and then be able to charge. Oupes little generator is nice!...it automatically starts the generator. === Mega 3 runs large **side by side Fridge, **Chest Freezer (8 hrs)...Also 3 bedrooms, Furnace, "Inverter" style 8,000 BTU Window AC (inverter ACs use way less! 300W opposed to 800W)... could make coffee also with 1,380 W Keurig, Space Heater... But one better be mindful or you'll overload for sure. So far: Fridge, Freezer, Heater 1,000W...and I had over another 1,500 W to boot. === This is the one to buy === ...You aren't going to the Mega 5 anyway and have 3,000 Watts to play with. All Megas also have 150 Volt Solar Panel Input Capability...Why I bought a Mega (Don't be heart broken with the lesser 60 Volt units... I'm a little broken myself with my 150 V max. It's not much but the most out there so far. ...If you start getting into panels you're gonna want it. /// It's heavy! so don't buy it for camping trips. This is a "Whole House" Survival Thing... besides Camping: Smaller, Portable Panel or Quiet! Generator...then back to super quiet all night. You could use for camping and it would supply!...just very heavy) === You can also buy the B2 Extra Batteries ($1,000 +)... Mega 3, 2 B2s... for an apartment / condo (where you cant really panel or generator) ...Charge Up, Store... Survive a LONG TIME! ... show more

Great source for back up electricity
Style: Mega 3
Waited to write review to actually use it. Used it to power up 100 watt switch over panel. Powered necessary items during outage. Freezer, refrigerator, TV 😀, led lights, microwave, computers, and furnace. Ran almost 11 hours down to 10% from 100%. During heavy power draw fan comes on and is audible (in garage I don't care). It would not power my 30 amp well pump. I also used it to power my rv over night and only used 32% of capacity. I am very happy with it's performance. ... show more

Device failed With Error E020 and no Support
Style: Mega 3
Disappointed – Device Failed With Error E020 and No Support I purchased the OUPES (OPEX) Mega 3 in June while overseas and later brought it to Jamaica. During Hurricane Melissa, the unit was used only twice and worked normally. After that, the battery level was around 70%, and the unit was stored safely. When electricity was restored recently, I attempted to recharge the unit, but it immediately showed error code E020 and would not charge or function. I left it for a couple of days and tried again, but the same issue remained. The device failed despite very light use. What makes this more frustrating is the lack of response from OUPES customer support. Several attempts were made to contact them, but there has been no reply or assistance. This product was purchased as an emergency power solution, and it failed when reliability mattered most. Additionally, returning or repairing the unit from Jamaica will be complicated and costly. Based on this experience, I am very disappointed and cannot confidently recommend this product. ... show more

Title of Review
Style: Mega 3
The unit is relatively light weight and small enough to be portable, but produces enough power to run my RV. The unit was delayed in shipping but the company stayed in contact and was perfectly willing to send another one while it was lost in limbo without any hassle. Overall, would absolutely purchase again. ... show more

Great Seller and Product
Style: Mega 3
The seller really made some great concessions with me due to my friend ordering the wrong part and waiting a very long time so that it was not returnable. In fairness the seller made every effort to help me. The product is great I especially loved UPS feature which allows the power to pass through and for the device to function as a UPS which in my case will run my refrigerator for about 20 hours in the case of a power outage. ... show more
