We bought the first one as a UPS keep our internet, alarm and cameras running during power outages. It's functioned flawlessly for several month 24/7 as a UPS and liked it so much we bought a second as a UPS for a chest freezer. Biggest reason we chose the P2001 plus over other units is the variable charging rates. We have a small portable 900 watt propane generator and other units would overload the generator. With the P2001 plus we can set it to 400 watts input and the generator just purrs along. Very solid construction, sturdy handles for carrying the weight and an easy to read display. I've read other reviews calling it a budget power station but with all the bells and whistles you could want and great reliability the only thing budget is the price, everything else is quality.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The Oukitel P2001 plus 2400W Power Station 400W solar panel was one of the least expensive products to meet my requirements as spelled out in the product description: 1) >=2kWh capacity 2) UPS-mode operation (to support residential IT infrastructure network, security, storage) 3) Battery type with at least a decade lifespan. 4) Solar charging option with included solar panel and interface connectors 5) Network/App connectivity to allow for firmware fixes and improvements. 6) Output types - 120VAC, USB-A, USB-C supporting power distribution (PD) charging, and 12VDC (it doesn't have 220-240VAC option, which would have been nice). 7) Portable enough to take outside for charging, yardwork or camping. My biggest concern about the product was the lack of information anbout the seller, listed as YOYOSCX. Functionality: The initial charging with the included 400W solar panel produced less than 200W input on the summer solstice, but It charged as per spec with 120VAC input. Also, it was vexingly difficult to connect with the downloaded Android app, Wonderfree, which seems to require the connecting android device not only to be connected to the same wireless network as will be the power station, but also to a 2.4GHz access point. Bluetooth connectivity is also apparently required. I'm at a loss to understand the connectivity requirements, but I was able to get in touch with the seller through Amazon-mediated messaging. The seller was very responsive in addressing both of my issues; ultimately issuing a return label for swapping solar panels. I was able to establish the briefest of connections to the Wonderfree app, but accomplished nothing useful with it, and once mistakenly powered down the unit anlong with all of the network devices attached to it at the time. The app doesn't seem to provide any function that isn't already available on the power station's display panel (except possible rudamentary remote monitoring/control? Firmware update?). I've run the unit through a couple of complete charge/discharge cycles and it preforms exactly as expected with regard to charge speed and battery capacity. Build quality is nice. It does produce occasional noticeable fan noise during operation comensurate with the power handling parameters involved.

Build quality is top notch and charges quickly. As a test, I metered the solar panels indoors under led lighting and still got a solid voltage reading. Although you would not do this but impressive none the less. Great value! Great purchase!

This is my 2nd one. The first one works very well. I use it as a UPS for our sump pup when we are away from home. It charges fast. I also use it to power amplifiers and a PA System for my musical group. Plenty of clean power for many hours. I ran my kitcn fridge off of it as a test. It ran it for 24 hrs straight and still had power for more. It's worth the money.
