  • Perfectly nasty
Size: Small Color: A-blue
Given the low cost, I assumed these would be cheaply made but they're not. Perfect reproduction of 1970s gym shorts, they cover everything and show what they're supposed to. Thick solid material, holds its shape really well -- some kind of breathable polyester -- the originals from the old days were all cotton. This feels nice next to the skin, you can wear with undergarments (or not! ;) and everything stays in place. I'm a little scared to wear them outside the house because they make everything look so delicious, I'm worried about people being driven insane. These are sinfully good. ... show more

  • Short shorts, but not too short
Size: Large Color: A-white
These are double mesh shorts that seem to be good quality. They are very comfortable and are not too short to wear in public. They are not see through and you can go commando if you chose with no worries. I normally wear US size medium gym shorts but went up a size to a Large. I tried the XL first but it was too big so I returned it and got the Large. It fits just a little tighter than I would prefer but I still like the shorts very much. For reference, 34 in waist. ... show more

  • Extremely Decent Shorts
Size: Medium Color: Purple
Updated review: Back in 2020 I bought these in purple and grey and wore them a few times and then moved on to trying new things. At one point I was seriously thinking of putting them in the Goodwill box. I guess I had taken leave of my senses. I just ordered several types of shorts to try and was looking at these again. I ran to dig the older two out of storage to verify the size. I had actually got the grey in large and the purple in medium. Both fit well but as usual the mediums had a slight edge since that is my normal size. What surprised me was how much I decided I liked them and I decided to try 3 more pairs of these OuBER in white, pink and yellow. What I have decided is I really like this style of short as opposed to ones with more extreme split sides. Those are great for specific workouts and movement but for my needs I only like to walk in them and then hang about the house and the OuBER fitted shorts get that job done with pleasure. They are made with a double layer of mesh which definitely helps with overexposure although in certain light you can make out shapes down there because there is no liner. Going commando in these feels great but I also wear a thong when I want to and that does not really impact the pleasure of wearing these. However, pair them with a brief or thong made of those slippery fabrics and you might go into a trance. People might start snapping their fingers in your face to bring you back from wherever you drifted to. They are not baggy or odd fitting like some shorts can be nor do they hug you tight. Yet, for those guys who don’t mind if people know you have more than a Ken doll, there can be just the right amount of subtle schlong outline without looking intentionally forward. Looks real nice on the butt as well. For more modesty just stick with classic briefs instead of pointy enhancers. What really makes these winners for me is the very stretchy waistband. It really bothers me when I constantly wonder if I should have sized up because of a very snug fit in the waist. It is flat and doesn’t leave marks like some waistbands do. I am very glad I gave them another try. All things considered they are hard to beat for my needs and how I want them to look on me. When I previously reviewed these I used the headline "Decent Shorts." Here is the original review I wrote in 2020: ------------------------------------------------ I strictly use shorts like this for summer wear in and around the house. I'm not a runner or a gym boy so cannot comment on that activity. But these are OK, fit fine, have been through the wash, etc. They are unlined but have 2 layers of mesh. I got two pairs -- the light gray and the purple. I also got a few pairs of the Aimpact brand - very similar shorts but I think the Aimpact have the advantage of having just a wee bit more sensual feel whereas these might actually be a bit better look and fit while being a few bucks less when I bought them. The only thing that might annoy some buyers is the seam around the legs. The way they are sewn at the side slit causes them to fold upwards a bit. And I don't think it's a fluke - both pairs I got do this. If that is the kind of thing that might annoy you then go with the Aimpact ones for a few bucks more. (I wrote a review there as well) ... show more

  • Great shorts, slightly deceiving pictures.
Size: Medium Color: A-black
I have an extensive collection of black shorts and I really liked the look of these. The reviews encouraged me to order a medium, but I wish I would've ordered a large. That's what you get for ordering online. I think the product pictures are a little deceiving because the length of the shorts is actually quite short. I'm 5'11 with a 33" waist and they hit about at my upper thigh while the photos suggest that the hem falls to mid thigh. That doesn't bother me too much, but I was planning on wearing them to the gym and I might as well just wear a speedo. They're super comfortable and love the look of them. ... show more

  • A Little Uncomfortable and Somewhat Small
Size: Large Color: A-black
These are so-so running shorts. They're lightweight, and they dry quickly. They don't have a liner, and I like that about them. I wanted basic shorts. However, there are some things that I dislike. They're on the small side. I almost always buy medium for pants and shirts, and all of my other running shorts are medium. Based on some comments here, I ordered large, and I'm glad I did. It's a good fit, neither too big nor too small, but if I'd ordered my normal size I'd have had to return them. The inseam digs into the crotch. (This is with underwear. The fabric has many ventilation holes and I wouldn't wear these in public without something underneath.) It's not terrible, but the shorts are a little uncomfortable. If I were to push them down further to relieve the crotch tightness, I'd start to feel embarrassed about how much I'm revealing. I have an average build for active person, not super skinny but definitely not overweight. The first inch on the front keeps flipping up. I don't mind showing off some leg, but it looks weird and I have to keep flipping it back down. Be aware that the ventilated fabric does show underwear a little. It's not so noticeable when I'm standing, but when I'm sitting and the shorts lie flat against the underwear, it's obvious that *something* is underneath. Of course, that could just be a different-colored liner as far as any observer can tell. Honestly, this aspect doesn't much bother me, but I mention it for potential buyers who might be embarrassed. ... show more

  • Exactly what I wanted
Size: XX-Large Color: Yellow
I have thick thighs, and it’s hard to find clothes that compliment my figure, and that are soft and comfortable. They are a great price compared to gym influencer brands such as Kill Crew ($55 for each pair of shorts). I like how short they are, and the colors are great. Will buy again!!!

  • Very short 3 inch inseam
Size: Medium Color: A-blue
The pair I got runs smaller than typical and are very very short - like trunk style underwear short. The leg side slit is a little long and the already very short leg opening rolls up if I move at all while wearing them, revealing what's underneath. Unless you like very tight and short gym shorts that could reveal your privates, buy these a size up. ... show more
