It did not weight down my fine hair or make my hair greasy. I applied one pump to my damp hair after washing and it really helped with detangling. After blowing drying, my hair felt soft and was less frizzy than if I didn’t use any products. I applied another pump after my hair was completely dry to smooth it out and my hair still felt clean. I bought this because the Ouai site said it was scented after a specific perfume and I wanted to test the scent before buying the perfume. I like this oil for detangling and it doesn't way the hair down, however it doesn't exactly hydrate the hair. I personally like the smell but I know some other's don't. Its lightweight. I bought this oil because I really needed something to help me smooth out my frizzy and dry ends of my hair. I have bleached ends on my hair that get frizzy, brittle, dry and a lot of split ends. I have used this oil for a few days now and the results have been amazing! I've used it on both wet and dry hair and it works well either way. When I used it on dry hair, it smoothed away the frizz and left my hair looking shiny and feeling so soft! When I used it on my wet hair, I felt like it helped protect my hair from the heat of my blow dryer and my hair came out shiny and smooth. This oil is lightweight and better suited for fine hair, which I have. But it kind of seems to disappear throughout the day. Scent is very floral, which isn't my favorite. Not sticky, which is great.
